Flott and Belton conversation

I was very happy with what I saw by both guys. Yeah, I know Moore made a great move and beat Flott, but he was on an island against a pretty darn good WR. That WR only caught 3 passes. Anderson didn’t do much either. No long passes I can recall.

Fellas, we have some young lions coming out to play with the big boys…

Belton took a bad angle, welcome to the NFL kid, a little more speed at this level.
Flott was abused a couple times, but hung in there later.

They played like rookie DBs

they didnt look out of place. Flott may have been starting to lose it when they swapped him out but he was matched up with Moore almost every play and held his own until that 1 drive. he and Belton also had the 1 play where they helped contain CMC in space (even though they needed Love to get him to the ground).

think back to deandre baker's rookie year and remember DB in the NFL is a position where things can go very badly very quickly.

missed almost all of camp, the entire preseason, and only practiced this week without a red shirt.

The issue with him is his lack of athleticism. Can be exposed very easily.

One of the few good moves he made thus far is Adoree' Jackson. I know Jackson missed much of last season but he has embraced the role of being the #1 CB and veteran leader. Jackson has been very good so far. I look forward to watching how Robinson, Flott, and Holmes develop this season.
