Jefferson and Moreau are examples of the right way to use veteran Practice Squad slots. They won't be a factor in the team's future. They just provide a stabilizing influence in a thin secondary. They know the system from prior experience with Pees and/or Martindale, and they have previous exposure to most of the QBs the team will face.
I don't expect heroics from these guys. Anything that stands out will be a bonus. I just expect them to reduce the costly mental errors.
