Not a DJ fan, I think he is limited. But he seems like a wonderful kid, and I think at the very least he will be in this league for some time making millions of dollars on a few team rosters as a backup/second chance player. But I think Monday night on national TV against the Cowboys could be a titanic opportunity for his future. Might not be with the Giants, but just his prospects overall for his future. Wish him the best, feel like a nervous parent...
If Daniel Jones throw for 3 TD's and no INT's against a Micah Parsons defense on MNF, Mara will be in the locker room with a new contract after the game.
If he somehow wins with a bad o-line and throwing it to Sills James and Shep, he won't get any credit. But who cares at this point? Just keep fucking winning.
The defense has been awesome. The red zone defense has been tough as nails. And that's without our edge rushers. They deserve the mucho credit for our record.
If we beat Dallas it will probably be according to the same storyline. And that would be fine with most of New York
LOL. Do fans of other teams discounts their wins vs the Giants? If Jones plays well Monday night and they win, why would I care if Dak played or not? They just beat the Bengals, did that win not count or something?
Outside of an injury he is the guy for the rest of the season, I don't get the nitpicking of every play.
All I hope for is do enough to win the game and get better every week.
;>)
Or did you mean "gigantic opportunity"?
I'm sorry is Daniel Jones facing Cooper Rush or the Cowboys defense? The reigning AFC champs led by everyone's favorite QB Joe Burrow just lost to Cooper Rush yesterday.
What an idiotic post you made. You can't be this dumb. SO just take away the victory, right?
Who needs victories unless you say so, right?

He needs to beat him heads up. if he beats Cooper Rush its certainly not as big of a deal

Are the insults necessary? i just said it would have more meaning if he beat Dak heads up
also, go fuck yourself
I hope they have a plan for blocking Parsons because if he runs loose DJ may not make it 60 minutes.
They all say, Eli beat Tom Brady twice.
Giants have not beat the Cowboys with Dak at QB since 2016, for me as a fan, it will have more meaning to beat them with Dak playing.
And thanks for the last 2 posters for disagreeing respectfully
So Eli didn’t beat Brady.

That’s weird, I have. And for those that think he beat Brady, it was the Super Bowl where, up until that point, Brady never lost.
Playing Brady in the SB has no relation to playing Dak in a week 3 game.
That puts him in about the same class as Tony Romo.
Ludicrous. A win against Rush counts exactly the same as a win against Dak
Talk to Cincinnati and Joe Burrow.
LOL
Who on this board has said they wish the Giants had lost the last two games?
The fantasy land you live in is wild. This weird obsession you have on deciding what other people are thinking is weird .
[quote] pretty obvious around here that a lot of post
You must be a blast at parties...LOL!
Going to be so important that they are able to run the football on Monday night and not play from behind. Cant let that defense just pin their ears back and come at the QB

I'm guessing no one.
If you’re playing the Giants my guess is you’d want to
1. Play 2 high
2. Load the box to nullify Saquon
Make the Giants work down the field and score touchdowns in a condensed field. The offense has to find ways to score touchdowns instead of settling. Then those drives turn into back breakers.
Depending on opponent this OL doesn’t seem stout enough to run it down a teams throat even when they expect it. Thats where Kafka gets creative and tries different things. I criticized him during the game but man being an OC of this team is tough.
So, I don't think Jones should be expected to do anything on MNF that he hasn't done the first two games. And the way things are playing out, that may be good enough for another W.
