Offensively, this has been a tale of two halves
In the First half of games this season:
6 points (both scoring drives set up by fumbles)
In the second half so far :
34 points (and without the aide of a turnover)
Saquon 200+ yard rushing
I think some of the credit goes to coaching adjustments made by Daboll, Kafka and co. The other part is that Saquon has been effective and it has opened up things for DJ and the passing game.
Mentality wise, the offense has looked more aggressive in the second half of games- DJ especially. He turns it loose and has made some big time throws. In the first half, he seems hesitant (almost like he’s trying not to lose the game in the first half)
Are the Giants (offensively) the team we’ve seen in the first half or second half of games?
Or the coaches loosening Jones reigns?
Jones starts feeling more comfortable or willing to air it out more to without a doubt the worst WR corp in the league.
