I expect Buffalo to cruise in the opener. The spread is Buffalo -10. I'd take the over on that. Bills Mafia will be out in full force.
Vikes-Eagles should be a good one. The spread is Eagles -2.5. I like the Vikings here. I just think Minnesota is a flat out better team. They whipped the Pack last weekend & the Cousins-Jefferson combo looked damn good. Justin Jefferson...man, that dude is electric. Thank God Philly took Reagor instead of Jefferson in the '20 draft because the thought of seeing Justin Jefferson 2X a year...no bueno. Goes without saying...Skol!
I like the two MNF games. I believe they're expanding it to 3 times next season.
They coach up their guys, generally speaking. Meanwhile, we haven't been able to do that consistency for years.
They've missed on a few, but they know how to develop young talent on the line. Outside of Thomas, we don't do that.
I think Titans might actually have to put Tannehill back in.
They watched the footage from the NFCCG in 2017 and Super Bowl 52.
If the Giants continue to improve, perhaps. But it's going to be a tough one.
The Vikings are in QB hell. Cousins stinks and he's making $40 million and $30 next year.
Are they the same team that got destroyed by Tampa Bay last season?
It's the most vanilla I've seen a defense play this season.
They are playing very basic 4man rushes and basic 2man coverages.
I literally cannot understand why they are not trying to bring pressure...like you're already getting your ass kicked. Maybe go down swinging and ditch the preseason defense.

Maybe not?

They look a lot better
At this point, no—but it’s week 2.
Right now, on the face of it, no. Eagles look really good...But, there is always a but, every game is different and you're never as good as you look when you win or as bad when you lose.
Drops, bad routes, Cousins throwing ducks, missing wide open guys on offense.
On defense, there's zero creativity. Have played the same garbage all game with no adjustments.
Yes the Eagles are playing well, but this game is just as much about their opponent.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Eagles but they are being the beneficiaries right now of a Viking team that can't run can't pass and none of their WRs can catch a cold even when wide open. It's like Engramitus was contagious and everybody on their team got it

Justin Jefferson runnng some bad patterns too. He looks like he doesn’t want to be out there

Jones is clearly the least talented QB in this division. What is he objectively better at? If the question upsets you, you have bias.
Jones might be the most accurate deep thrower of the four. It's impossible to say, because he has no time to throw deep balls, and nobody to throw them to. So we might as well give him the benefit of the doubt.
The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of NFL QBs.
It is astonishing how bad him performs in prime time.
I haven't figured out everything, but one thing I've figured out is no league humbles you like the NFL. Just when you think you have everything figured out the league comes up and bites you in the ass. They're liable to smacked around by Washington next week.
Well, this post didn't age well ;)
They did a good job with what they had the past few years but its over now.
Are they even the most useless and snake bitten football team in their own division?
Idiot
They did a good job with what they had the past few years but its over now.
I mentioned coming into our week 1 game that the Titans had lost their WR1 (Brown), their Edge#1 (Landry), their Pro Bowl G (Rodger Saffold), and their starting RT (Quessenberry).
And on defense, they were starting an unproven second round corner in Roger McCreary (who I really, but it's going to take time...).
In other words, all of this talk that we beat the #1 AFC seed last year was beyond silly because the 2022 Titans are much different than the 2021 Titans.
A Qb like Cousin need a good team around him....a strong OL, decent WRs and a good defense..I think Jones is similar.
Sign guys like Cousins or Jones in the 20million range....which allows signing some key cogs
They choose to hang onto Cousins year after year. That’s not bad luck - that’s bad decision and it’s time to start holding people accountable
You keep mentioning last year....this ain't last year, this is now. Teams improve, coaches improve, players improve.

Why am I an idiot for suggesting something that is totally obvious to 98% of the football viewing audience. Cousins is two categories better than Jones. You're the idiot for your reaction, directed personally at me for stating the obvious, you dimwit.
