Jarrett Allen (52)
Darius Garland (46)
Evan Mobley (36)
Donovan Mitchell (Top 25, possibly Top 20)
Mitchell is the only one over 24, and he turned 26 a couple weeks ago. Mobley is the piece with the most potential and he's 21.
What a really fun young group to build around. Garland/Mitchell probably isn't the most ideal fit but it could work, and Mobley/Allen is an awesome frontcourt.
you would think each team would have 3 on average. (Yes, I know how statistics actually works and you'd expect some to be overrepresented and some to be underrepresented.) So 4 from 60-100 isn't incredibly impressive, and also demonstrates what a star driven league this is, as 4 in the top 100 and we're expected to fight for a play-in game.
Marcus Smart is the 34th best player in the NBA? I mean come on. There are some other bad ones but that sticks out.
Many of the advanced metrics have him in the top 20. Depends on how much you factor stuff like that in but I don't think him being called a top 40 NBA player is crazy. He's a top 5 defender I think, that means a lot IMO.

should be GM of the decade
Yeah....no. Win 50 games first. Nice team...good for them. It also helps to win the lotto every fucking few years or at least enjoy some lotto luck every few years.

I like Marcus Smart don’t get me wrong, always have. But there is no way he’s a top 20 player in the NBA- I don’t care what metrics you have.
From this list alone- there are about 13 players I’m taking from 55-35 above him.
I also don’t think he’s a top 5 defensive player and it was a bit of joke he won that award.
