Of course I wish he was playing and helping the team but the decision to sit him isn't a small one and it says a lot about Daboll. One of many encouraging decisions we've seen him make over the past 2 Sundays.

is miserable. didn't even have a chance to read it with all of the pop-ups and split content.

he's not performing well, and isn't playing much as a result. No scholarships with the Schoen Reign!

Lots of people say he was never a burner and never one to get tons of separation, and they are correct.. but go back and watch highlights, movement ability differences from then to now is very obvious.

I feel for him. Golliday just doesn't look physically able right now.

Jones is better than Taylor.

with Galloday. He lost a step. Giants seem to be aware this signing was a colossal mistake. O'Brien got sent packing after one year.

He's got a long term view, and sucking up to losers for hopes of some nebulous short term gain ain't on the menu.

And if they made a better selection we might feel better about the WR at this point.
He might turn into a great WR but I feel it was a luxury/system pick.
They needed a more prototypical WR and it is hurting this team.
Having 2 high draft picks not seeing the field hurts.

I agree that it was a silly comment, but I also think your rebuttal is a little bit silly, too. To whatever extent you might agree or disagree with the idea that Mara influences ANY personnel decisions, you have to at least acknowledge that there's a difference between a QB who the Giants drafted and a mercenary FA WR that very few (if any) fans have a real attachment to.

And you're not being honest if you don't recognize that Mara very obviously has meddled in the playing time of at least one QB in the past. As far as I can recall, that has never been the case with a WR, unless you want to count a handful of comments about Jerrel Jernigan a decade ago.

I’ve offered 0 opinion on anything other than making fun of the above post. I’m well aware of what’s transpired thus far in Jones’ career and I do my best to not waste time on the past because it’s just that, a complete waste of time.

Things are clearly ran different now. You either buy it or you don’t and I’ve lost interest in trying to convince people of it.

Dabs philosophy is simple- the best man plays…..but he followed this up by saying, each week can be different. In other words, there is no guarantee you will start every game or be on the bench every game.

And money means nothing….just because you make the most doesn’t mean you are the better player. Well done.
