DanMetroMan : 9/20/2022 9:20 am
NYG somehow charge 4.75 more than the Jets (same stadium!) and the Eagles an outrageous 14.67!

If that's the average for like a domestic (Miller, Bud Light) vs like a locally brewed beer or IPA.
They should make this Monday

Nickel beer night vs Dallas. What's the worst that could happen?

I paid $14 for Spaten on draft

on Sunday. At least the beer was good. I would not pay stadium prices for a Bud Light.

Ditto – I'm more likely to slam double the Buds, pee twice as often, and miss the game.
They charged $14 for a 12 ounce

Yankee stadium charges $15 but for the tall boys

The food options at Metlfie are atrocious. Thank god for tailgates.

knows eagle fans need their beer, even crappy ridiculously over priced beer. Harder to be the nastiest most obnoxious fans without it!

No way, going for a non-domestic draft is always a good choice.
Charging Eagles fans too much for alcohol is a public service...

Drink all the beer you want in the tailgate
GiantBlue : 9/20/2022 10:26 am : link
and then enjoy the game with your wallet in your pocket.

Then when we win, leave the game and have another frosty during the post game tailgate.

That has been my formula since the early 80's.

Mara probably hates me! LOL

want to do some research? lol

Apparently section 116 has 5 dollar beer?

"So do $5 unicorn beers exist at MetLife? After the season opener last Sunday, I combed through Twitter trying to find visual proof that it exists, like the Bigfoot of cheap beer. To my surprise, and the internet's disbelief, apparently it really does exist.

I've been getting Value beers for 5.00 at Metlife for years.

It is mostly in the 100 level and the beer isn't great -- it is MGD or Busch light. But I'd rather pay 5.00 for that as opposed to 14.00 for a similarly shitty Bud Light.

Only drink I ever brought at (old) Stadium

was Hot chocolate for my son, snuck in enough beers to even give some out on occasion. Besides, tailgate had plenty

I never actually ate anything in metlife but was curious if the food was decent. We always cook and tailgate outside. I also drink like a lush before I go in...fuck paying these prices.
You’re not missing anything
ajr2456 : 9/20/2022 11:14 am : link
I rarely do eat because of the tailgate but there were a couple of times last year I missed the tailgate and the options are pretty bad

I had a large soft serve ice cream cone on Sunday that was pretty damn satisfying. Friendly service, and no maggots too!
I couldn't find the value beer Sunday
cuty suzuki : 9/20/2022 2:14 pm : link
The stand that always had it was replaced by a stand covered with Corona signs.
I always laugh at the people paying $12 for a Miller Lite at the same stand that has regular Miller for $5. High Life is a way better beer than Lite also.

true up in Seattle, I had a really nice fresh Pad Thai at the game.
but why are the Jets so low?
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 9/20/2022 3:07 pm : link
Maybe I missed a news story but that Giants/Jets discrepancy is pretty damn significant. An NYC based team having the cheapest food/beverage prices doesn't even compute.
I really don't care that much
Enzo : 9/20/2022 3:19 pm : link
how much beer or anything else costs at MetLife. My main gripe is just how long it takes to buy anything. Seems like every concession is staffed by the laziest possible person. Yankee stadium is similarly awful. MSG is pretty good. I've only been to UBS arena once, but it was suprisingly easy to buy food and drinks. They had what I guess you could say is a "mini mart" setup where you grab what you want, go to a cashier, swipe, and you're out.

there's some decent food stands by the main MetLife gate (by the mini football field). But yes, the options near my section are pretty bad. Cold pretzels, stale popcorn, etc.

And it’s fantastic because I don’t have a line and not so hot that I am spending 48 bucks on bud light per round
