Graham Gano Week 2 NFC Special Teams POW

truebluelarry : 9/21/2022 8:42 am
Could not be more deserved.
Two 50+ yard FGs in the fourth quarter to put his team ahead, including the 56-yard game winner.

Nice!

Brad Daluiso won it four times over eight seasons.

Can we make it a hattrick with a defensive player against Cooper Rush?!?
Love him.

Excluding Justin Tucker, I wouldn't trade Gano for any kicker in this league, just saying.
Still

The best player on the team.
I'd trade him for

Evan McPherson, that kid can kick them from 70 and is only in his second year. Made many clutch kicks. Debacle against Pittsburgh was due to back up snapper. He was right down the middle on all three kicks at Dallas.
Like many top kickers, Gano started his career shakily.
Big Blue Blogger : 9/21/2022 9:43 am : link
He had to wait for a job to open up in Washington when the organization weirdly scapegoated Shaun Suisham, and his two full years there were a roller-coaster: 21 missed field goals, including a bunch of chip shots. Then he had to wait for another chance in Carolina, where Justin Medlock’s career ended abruptly with three misses.

Gano always had a big leg, but like Brad Daluiso and others, he needed time to harness all that power. Fortunately for the Giants, Gano came back from a devastating injury better than ever. Daluiso sadly didn’t.
Gano is the Giants' rock. He's a master at what he does

GRAHAM GANO…..we are so fortunate to have him on our team. I saw him kick that 63 yard FG, and now I’m glad he’s a friend, no longer a foe.
