baby. Braves had 1st and 2nd 1 down, Harris singles, Ron Washington waves Riley home... and then holds him up, Contreras got caught in no mans land, then Rosario lined out. Potentially MASSIVE mistake by the Braves.
Here are some more links for today's Mets & Braves games:

Boo hoo. So sad. Though I fully expect the Braves to come back in the 9th.
Mets play Oakland 3 starting Friday. Nice to pick up a win today, and extend the lead this weekend. Though depending on the Phillies lately hasn't worked out too well

Jeff McNeil appeared to suffer some sort of physical issue in left field earlier, and he did not run hard down the line on his fifth-inning groundout. He was on a knee in left until just before the first pitch was thrown in the bottom of the fifth.
McNeil is fine. It looked bad when he tumbled and his knee made that divet, but he waived the trainer off after he came out to check on him. The trainer stayed with him, but he's still out there. Nimmo is the one we need to keep an eye on, especially with his history.
Best writers saying Nimmo left with quad “tightness”
He oould go one more inning, but should he at this point? I'd give Peterson the ball for an inning or two, then hope they score a run, and then bring in Diaz.

Otto has pitched the last two games, and I don't really trust anyone else I'd send him out for one more

does he stand close to the plate? Did Buck ask him to pull a Rudy Stein?
Braves announcers are the WORST btw. Talkin' bout "when we come back n beat the Nats we'll talk about the Nimmo injury".

The first HBP today set a Mets record for a single player

+1. Braves announcers ARE the worst!

Hopefully the Mets lose today and then we've got the first of three off-days in the span of 8 days: Sept. 22, 26, & 29.
We can watch the Barfs tomorrow lose gain tomorrow in Philly while the Mets enjoy a day off.
I'm watching the Braves' postgame now, lol. What sore losers.

Would be great to pick up a game on ATL today.

at least they have a day off tomorrow
He took a tumble in left field going for a ball that Escobar caught and a divet of grass flew up. It looked bad initially for sure.

McNeil is still in the game, what happened to him? or am I wrong on that.

I'd guess he just banged his knee pretty bad. Something that might linger for a few games but nothing we all havent felt
Last week Braves lost 4 out of 5. Two to Seattle and two to Giants
