Jordan Raanan @JordanRaanan · 8m Kenny Golladay was asked if he would ask for a change of scenery: “We’re going to see how it goes. I came here to play.” Quote Tweet Jordan Raanan @JordanRaanan · 15m Kenny Golladay on playing 2 snaps vs. Panthers. Accepted the coach’s decision but … “I don’t agree with it. … I should be playing regardless,” he said. “That’s a fact.” More Golladay: “I didn’t like the decision whatsoever.” “Little confusing.” “I came here to play.” |
I still think Solder is #1 on the list because it really showed how clueless Gettleman was. I know many here took a while to see it, but this was exhibit A
Golladay is a very close #2 based on how little he has played and how useless he has been with Jones.
Who’s next?

I'd say Stewart was the most useless..but it was relatively cheap.
If Golladay is gone after this season with little to show I will say his was the worst over Solder. At least Solder got on the field, as bad as it was.

Solder stunk, but at least his play rapidly jumped off the cliff and it was a calculated risk with a HOF QB.
Golladay is unforgivable for a few reasons. A - this clown was gonna trade for him until Judge took the keys from gramps. B - he outbud himself on money and years after the dude had friggin hip surgery
Not setting world on fire but very respectable.
Then KG got hurt, missed three games, came back for three quiet games before Jones got hurt.
If the issue now were actually a matter of Jones not wanting to throw to KG, how to explain those 27 targets in the first four games of 2021?
The most plausible explanation is that KG is another year slower and further down the hill.
He's three years removed from the year that got him the big contract. A lot of guys are NFL old at 28.
Nice post.

Kenny Golladay flashed some impressive athleticism today in practice. An out route led him to the sideline at full speed, so Golladay and Darnay Holmes hurdled a waist-high cooler simultaneously.
The Golladay situation is perplexing to me. I wish I knew just what the problems are between him and Daboll. It just seems to me that the Giants are wasting a guy who could (the operative word) be an asset to the offense.
It's not rocket science.
Wake up and make a few plays on Monday night for your teammates, and stop being an ass…
There have been reports all summer of the coaching staff getting on Golladay in practices at times. Reporters have mentioned a lack of effort at times. Do you honestly believe Daboll has told him he’s doing everything right?
It is odd you cannot see through this statement by the very actions Daboll has taken…
His 2020 season is misrepresented here. He caught 20 passes in 4 games for near 17 yards a catch and 2 td's. He caught 2/3 of the passes sent in his direction. He hasn't come close to those numbers here. You guys act like he's 35. He is not yet 29.
Apparently, some of you have learned a new term "separation". This is the NFL. It is rare for a wideout not named Kupp or Jefferson to consistently separate at this level. Unfortunately, the qb is not good in those situations which is part of the reason he has so much trouble completing passes in the red zone. Golladay is a bad fit here for the qb's skills.
It's not rocket science.
The team should bite the bullet, eat what they have to on the contract and trade Golladay to GB or wherever for whatever they can get before his agent tells him to take care of his body, sit on the bench, collect his paychecks and the agent will get him out of here in the offseason.
