Giants Tickets through Seat Geek

nyjuggernaut2 : 9/22/2022 8:20 am
I want to take my son to his first Giants game on Monday night, and looking at getting tickets through Seat Geek. However, when I went with a buddy from work a few years ago I remember him saying he had to purchase a parking pass along with the tickets. Is this still the case? I don't see any parking pass options when I search for the tickets on the site.
Don't know

about a parking pass. But what I do know is that I'll never purchase another ticket through SeatGeek ever again. What a terrible nightmare of a service.
All the passes are separate

On ticket exchange, you click on add ons, and then parking.

you need a printed out pass to enter the lots.
Use ticket exchange for parking passes

Just make sure you physically print it out on actual physical paper.
If you wanna park in the stadium lots

question
djm : 9/22/2022 10:36 am : link
why do they even have parking passes? Why not just charge people at the gate a fee to park in the lot like the good old days? My assumption is they are worried they'd allow too many people into the lot and would be overcrowded so the hard copy pass ensures they don't over book, but that's weird.

There are two parking "levels," platinum for clubs and suits and gold for everyone else. We park in E or F, which exits onto the Turnpike entrance ramp.

Yep aware--i still don't see the need for hard copy passes that cannot be purchased day of at the actual gate. It's weird.
why not just hand out
djm : 9/22/2022 10:46 am : link
some ticket stub the day of game at the same ticket booth we always use. If you want the premium spot, fine, you get a premium ticket back. Display it in your car just like we do now.

IT's annoying that someone can't just wake up, drive to the game and use the lot to tailgate.
maybe I answered my own question
djm : 9/22/2022 10:48 am : link
when I say that the process is probably quicker today now that people aren't conducting an actual transaction at the gates. I never thought of that possibility until now. Every time I go to a game we get there so early it's hard to even notice if the queue moves quicker these days compared to the 80-90s.

Because the platinum lots are reserved for clubs and suites. How do you keep people who don't have clubs or suites tix out of the lot? They have to show their ticket first? What's the difference then?

Besides, the lines to get in the gold lots are already long and all they're doing is scanning your pass. I can only imagine how long they'd be if they have to give change or process a credit card.
I think they started the parking pass thing while they were building

Met Life due to decreased parking and I think they fell in love with the idea with getting all that parking $ up front well before the season and they'll probably be here forever.
I do see signs directing people who do not have parking
mikeinbloomfield : 9/22/2022 11:06 am : link
passes on gameday. Not sure where they put these folks, maybe Secaucus.
Does Anyone KNow

And fell in love with selling mandatory parking passes to the preseason games. They lied and said it would only be until Giants Stadium was paved over.

I’m done with them also. I bought Yankee tickets and it made me download the MLB ballpark app. My tickets were never delivered . I bought another set of tickets and never delivered again. I had to call customer service like 5 times and they never would give me a refund . They put 250 dollars as a credit into my account and I’m challenging it through Amex currently. Avoid them
