I stream the msg postgame show on youtube...it alternates between the press conferences and Madelyn with Toomer and O'Hara. Informative and a good watch ;)
He truly is, so far. Without him, this season might already be circling the drain.
We knew going into camp that Ward's role would be much larger than his recent history and one-year qualifying deal might indicate. His versatility, his prior work with Martindale, and the thin defensive depth chart all suggested that he would be the most important of the vet-min signings. But with the injuries to Thibodeaux, Ojulari, and now Williams, he has been in the middle of everything. His snap count is close to 90%, and unlike, say, Crowder/Calitro/Moreau/Bredeson/Feliciano, he's not just filling a vacancy. He has been an impact player at multiple positions, and his command of the scheme gives Martindale the confidence to use the whole playbook.
If the front seven gets healthy, Ward's role will shrink. That's a good thing. The workload is too heavy, and the other guys bring skills he lacks. Anyway, by the time Williams returns, Ward will probably have earned his whole salary.
Yea soft spoken dude, at least on camera. I think he said “I like where I’m at, ya know, Jihad.” He’s an actions speaks louder than words type and someone who refers to himself in third person. Whatever makes him keep firing - good to me !
Gersh is not a douche. He just plays one on BBI. Hope you and yours are well, old man.
One other thought on Jihad Ward. For a player generating so much praise, his PFF grade is deeply mediocre, and that’s probably fair. With the two young edges out, Ward has been operating more in space than Martindale would probably prefer. He gets exposed on some of those plays.
Meh
Glad to have her with the Giants, really appreciate how real she seems compared to some of her peers.

gersh, I agree with you on this strongly, but apparently I am in the minority on this
