Hill vs. Cole
Game is only on Apple TV.....good job MLB!
Look at how awful Netflix and Amazon produced content is now.
Smaller, integrated, sandboxes.
Hicks is bringing it today.
2-1
Credit where it's due, good call.
Cmon big fella. This old ass MFer has him tonight.
I don’t know, I think Netflix is still putting out great content. As is Apple for that matter.
She speaks about once per half-inning, so even if you can't stand her, she can't be honestly accused of hurting the broadcast.
Well she's the one who made the inane comment about Judge's batting average lead only being able to increase not decrease since Bogaerts isn't playing. And she sounded pretty silly on Judge's flyout to left. She may be a small part of the broadcast, but she hasn't been a good part.

Katie Nolan was put in the booth precisely because she doesn't have PBP experience.

I just tuned in an inning ago, and logged on here just to see if you guys had figured out who this moron woman announcing is. Fucking embarrassing
They showed the Maris/Judge/Ruth HR graphic, and she chimes in saying “imagine if you didn’t know that!”
Thanks brother. Just doing my thing baby!
Heidi is awesome. Too bad she isn't more involved in the broadcast
How the hell is he the only top starter who gets lit up every time out.
4-4
Cone's point about limiting his arsenal to a few better pitches makes sense to me. Fastball, slider, change. That's all he needs.
Good point. He's very self-destructive when he feels slighted.

Classic Cole. Doesn't get a call, and then gives up a 3-run game tying bomb immediately after because he can't just move onto the next pitch.
Good point. He's very self-destructive when he feels slighted.
Exactly and this is the characteristic I would have hoped the Yankees would have identified before they backed up the truck with cash. He will always implode at some point. He isn't next level mentally tough.
He desperately needs a sports psychologist if he doesn't already have one.

His postseason numbers are excellent though. I'll wait until he fails in the big moment before piling on.

You play to win. You do that by acting like a winner.

And then he goes ballistic on the umpire. Not a good look for him, honestly. I get it was a tough call, but you gotta make a pitch there.

I not sure about acting like a winner. Cole had a reason to bitch. It started the inning before with Devers. The pitch was low and called a strike and then the next pitch which was better then the pitch before was called a ball. All you ask for from any umpire is consistently. Clearly not the case tonight.

Judge eats that every single AB. He hasn't been tossed once.

You’re right. Boone gets tossed instead. WTF
She's a Red Sox fan on top of it. Brutal. It literally sounds like a fan "won" some sort of raffle to call an Apple+ game.
That's basically the level of quality she's brought to the broadcast.
Never change, Katie.
5-4
Judge unlikely to come up tonight though.
Never change, Katie.
Lol. Bizarre.
The criticisms are fair. She hasn't brought anything to the broadcast and has even made statements that were flat wrong/incorrect in the process. Glad you're enjoying it so much.
Anyway. We've got a lead.. let's see if we can close this out without a circus.
Darth Bader
Hicks for MVP.
That aside, nice to flush those losers from Boston again
A Tamp win makes the magic number 5.
Never change, Katie.
So people should accept mediocrity???
Cole who has "stuff " but no balls in critical games. He absolutely sucks in high leverage games and various points in games. Cole will be the starter in the opening game of the first playoff game but hold your breath. I have zero confidence in the man to shown up big time in important games or situations.

See my issues with Cole start with last year's WC game and all the Hr's he's given up this season especially the 3 run jobs in crucial spots. To say he "absolutely sucks in high leverage games" is nonsense. He was great in the '19 post season and really good for the Yanks in the '20 post season. Cole throughout his career has been superb. This year not so much.
