First paragraph of article:
Sentiments among NFL team owners regarding Daniel Snyder’s ownership of the Washington Commanders have shifted significantly, as they await the findings of both a congressional investigation and a league-commissioned probe into allegations of misconduct by him and his team. Multiple owners said in recent days they believe serious consideration may be given to attempting to oust Snyder from the league’s ownership ranks, either by convincing him to sell his franchise or by voting to remove him.

Not sure it would be good to have Bezos running that team.
You're completely right, but I can't help hoping that he stays.

Regardless of the impact on Giants, he shouldn't be an owner.

The DC area deserves better. And I agree he 100% should not be an owner.
We need to take care of our own business. And lately, our owners have been pretty awful.

Do they though?
He should have been gone after the cheerleading photo shoot scandal, that story made me sick to my stomach.

Now THAT was an actual crime - literally international sex trafficking.
Agreed!
Bobby Sarver says hi though...
Witch Hunt????
There have been allegations of sexual assault, sexual harassment and toxic workplace practices by 40, yes 40 employees over a 20 year period.
It's fine if you don't like Goodell for some reason. But stop using the words "witch hunt" for investigations that you don't like.
Owners making noise here to the press shows that the ground has shifted here

You must have Snyder pretty high on your Villain List,if you can't use "Witch Hunt" when describing certain things he's involved in.Maybe he's next to Darth Vader.
Listen,we are talking about Goodell here.So if the topic comes up again,I may have to use it a few more times.

The Webster's definition of witch hunt (in the context that you’re using the term) is…
“The searching out and deliberate harassment of those (such as political opponents) with unpopular views.”
If the allegations against Snyder are true (and call me crazy, but I don't think ALL 40 accusers are lying) then this is most certainly not an example of Goodell harassing Snyder because the Commanders' owner has "unpopular views".
Snyder has been largely responsible for a culture of sexual assault and sexual harassment for over 20 years should be held accountable.
If you plan on using "witch hunt" incorrectly again I can't stop you. But at least now you know what the term actually means.

Maybe he's harassing Snyder because he wanted him fired?
I think there's more to Goodell/Snyder than what you're claiming.
I think that's what will sink Snyder, though I'm sure Snyder has some juicy dirt on the other owners (Kraft, for example). That's why they want Congress to do the dirty work, and then claim they "had to respond to protect the league".

Like with Sarver in Phoenix and Sterling years before in L.A., there doesn't appear to be any official procedure that would take their teams away from them. Only a series of gradually escalating steps in public pressure to shame/coerce them to eventually accepting what amounts to billions of dollars give up their ownership stakes.

This. The fact not much came of this at the time was crazy but I guess they had to wait for these investigations before making any public statements. The rest is one thing, taking money from the other owners is another.
