More seriously, I really don't care. 62 would last longer in people's memories (we all know Maris, how many triple crown winners can the average fan name), but a triple crown is pretty historic too. Whatever means more to him, I guess. And I'd rather he stay on 60 and we win the WS, then pass Maris but lose.
I have no dog in this fight, but I hope he hits 62 & wins the Triple Crown. He comes across as a good dude. He bet on himself bigly this season & man is he going to get some serious cheddar this winter. Good for him.
After that he’ll run at the batting title. I believe he will get them all.
