New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers (1 p.m. ET on FOX)
Houston Texans at Chicago Bears (1 p.m. ET on CBS)
Kansas City Chiefs at Indianapolis Colts (1 p.m. ET on CBS)
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (1 p.m. ET on CBS)
Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (1 p.m. ET on FOX)
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots (1 p.m. ET on FOX)
Cincinnati Bengals at New York Jets (1 p.m. ET on CBS)
Las Vegas Raiders at Tennessee Titans (1 p.m. ET on FOX)
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders (1 p.m. ET on FOX)
Philly might run away with today's game early.
Look our for Vegas at Tenn, I can see the beginning of the end (MST 3000 classic) for Tannehill in Tennessee (and Willis isn't close to ready).. *Sneaky FF play in big tournaments on DK's, Mack Hollins at like $3300 ..
I think Carolina steals one against the Saints as Winston is not that good, less than mobile and fades badly when pressured. Panthers can't turn the ball over though.
Don't sleep on NE today.
Bills vs Phins should see like 60 plus points today.
Lions vs Vikings also has the potential for a big day but I am starting to think the Lions might be ready to roar in this game.
I can't watch them either. Its like they think the key to their show is being extremely loud and faking laughter.

... are the NFL pre-game shows more and more unwatchable cringe? Seems like they spend more of their time shilling for movies and network related sitcoms than covering the games. Plus the unfunny comedy bits.

Don't even watch them anymore.. Man do I miss ( get off my lawn, back in my day moment) " You are looking Live" with Brent Musburger- s iconic voice intro..
Pats had a lineman open for an easy sack then stands there allowing Lamar to run right out of the pocket.

Jags had 2 red zone trips where they scored ZERO points and lost by 6.
Yes. The Commanders are 1-1. The Eagles are 2-0....
set the sack record here
That’s wasn’t a catch.
Honestly just gotta hope AJ Brown shows his injury prone label.

So far they've shut down Hurts
That’s wasn’t a catch.
Ruled a catch and Rivera didn't get to challenge in time...
Is Washington’s Oline this bad

Yeah, and Wentz is also.
17 straight quarters with a td for Detroit
The Lions offense is a blast to watch. Amon St. Brown seems like he's going to become a star.
The Redskins are garbage.
Of course, Washington gets a first down on the ground, then the drive dies when they throw the ball.
He looks like he’s being told not to run. He had a couple wide open ones and didn’t go.
Man did we dodge a bullet. I have to think he's going to be done as a coordinator soon.
Whoever Wsh OC is needs to be canned at halftime if he doesn’t make adjustments here
People complained that Rousseau got a lot of his sacks from the interior so he wasn't a real edge guy.
They're still sacks.

I really liked Rousseau in the draft. He was a huge gamble but he would have looked amazing for the Giants next to Lawrence and Williams.
D Smith is though
There you go… the worst shovel pass in football history.
And competitive as the Eagles.
He definitely seems destined to be one of those guys who leads the team to wins and puts up pretty good numbers, while a bunch of people on BBI keep saying, "He sucks! He sucks I tell ya!"
It still could be to be fair. Love the player but such a gamble.

Dude, he has had a few good games. He was decidedly mediocre last year in the air. His WRs are winning a lot of contested balls. It’s kind of like the opposite. The whole league wants to anoint him the greatest thing, the more measured response will be well let’s see about that.
Must have passed concussion protocol b/c he’s back in the game
38 is it? Seems light, never would have guessed that.

No, the concussion issue was for Jaelen Phillips, the edge who transferred to Miami from UCLA and played during the 2020 season that Rousseau opted out because of COVID.
Part of the opt out reason was Rousseau's mother working as a nurse, as I recall. Some people considered him a gamble because he had one big year of production and then the opt out.
But Rousseau had no concussion issue.
"He sucks! He sucks I tell ya!"
On the bright side, with 98 yards to go, Allen might break the completion record on this drive.

Right you are, Phillips was the guy I was thinking of.
Hope all good with you
Also had one deep pass for around 45 yds to Smith that Rivera was late to challenge. Sure looked like the catch would’ve been overturned as Smith regathered the ball and never got his left foot down in bounds.

Hope all good with you
Thanks CHP, doing fine, in North Florida, weather watching.
He has the receipts though!
And 2 picks
Some kept saying Tennessee were real bad because they got smoked by the Bills. I didn't get it.
They're the best team in their crappy division still.
Crazy things happen in the early season.
Da Bears had a couple of significant injuries today
Montgomery and Pringle hurt and did not return to the game
Bills on 2 yard line, 4th & goal
Raiders down by 8 - now a fourth down
What a great game
Made a poor throw on 4th & goal
Wow -
Their backup kicker is awful
Somewhere Mark Sanchez is laughing...

Did he not see the guy standing right there????????
And Raiders score TD but do not convert 2 point conversion

It was the old "kick it up his ass and he'll sneak it out of the end zone" play.
You’re 100% correct. He wasn’t blocking anyone or even attempting to.
Bears can't pass and they're 2-1. Colts who are awful beat the Chiefs. Buffalo are dismantled by injuries.
3-0 Sea Mammals!
That punt made me laugh out loud. That's the funniest football play I can remember since the butt fumble.
Dolphins are for real folks
Their defense chased Allen all day long
What a beauty
He was exhausted
Yeah. 😂
The Butt Punt was hilarious, but taking the safety was probably what they should've done. They're lucky it didn't turn into a TD for Buffalo.

I called the Hollins day.. Nice.
and here we go

Those are two pretty decent teams that we beat. Question really is - are the Giants better than we think?

It is a hard question to answer. I think the most telling game will be vs the Eagles.

the Eagles definitely look like they are for real - I don't think the Giants are as good as the Eagles. They have a lot of really good weapons.
Oh well. Brightwell did have that one nice run against Carolina.
NFLPA questioning protocol - ( New Window )
Oh well. Brightwell did have that one nice run against Carolina.
How do we know Brightwell wouldn’t do the same thing given the same opportunity? Oh wait, we don’t. I guess we can hope for a Barkley injury just so we can find out and get overreactionary fans to step back from the ledge for passing on freakin Khalil Herbert
The Pats have a Jones problem, too. While he does more good things than our Jones, he makes the same type of poor decisions and critical mistakes.
