He says all the right things. I'm not sure if I mis-read some things about him or was mistaken or he changed his ways. But, I was expecting a cockier guy. He is very grounded and seems like a great teammate. I really want to see him in action now.
made me against drafting him. I came around before the draft and have been Bart happy about him ever since.
I’m used to a certain type of football player who is 100% about football. But clearly, there is no reason why exceptional people cannot excel both at football and being an interesting person with other future aspirations. This kid seems to be one of those types of people.
He also seems to understand that football only gives him a platform. If he doesn’t perform on the field, no one will care much about he has to say.

I felt the same and let reports about his ‘red flags’ also turn me against drafting him.
He made an interesting comment that he quit playing video games after his Freshman year. The realization that he was wasting time and actually doing something about it hopefully bodes well for his future growth.
Seems mature

High motor
Hopefully he'll be a star on the field, because he's tailor-made to be one off the field.
Hopefully he'll be Strahan 2.0.
