I know it’s obviously very early but the legend of the AFC West appears to have been greatly exaggerated. People were talking like this would be the best division EVER. So far, through 3 games it’s been mostly trash. I still think the Chiefs and Chargers can be really good but both those teams have issues as well.
Russell Wilson is also half washed up and was overrated to begin with. This trade will wreck the Broncos for years to come.
Nobody signed him because he wasn't a FA. He was under contract and his contract was big and he had a shoulder injury. That's why teams didn't trade for him on top of knowing there was a very good chance SF cut him. He's not a great QB but he's not bad either.
So dumb - he has three great runs and then the other RB gets 1 yard
You have Gordon in fantasy, huh?
I do - but I honestly wasn’t thinking about that. Gordon had 2 consecutive runs of 6 yards and he was running much harder than Williams.
I don’t get when coaches go away from what works
Williams is averaging 4.8 yards per carry. Gordon is averaging 1.6 yards per carry. It’s obvious what’s working better than the other but it’s not what you think it is

Ok man. Nothing wrong with trying to convince yourself something is happening that’s not because you started a guy in fantasy. We all do it. Including me. I want my guys to play too. But Williams is much, much better than Gordon. Those two incredibly mediocre runs notwithstanding. Next week I’d stay away from Gordon if I were you. But that’s your choice
So far it looks like the Giants picked the right GM
Once Wilson figures out how to run with this offense, he's going to be great. Will you come back and eat your words? Wilson is a general and he's so much better than what we have it's not even funny. Right now, he would be the most talented QB in NY Giants history?
RE: Lol the Broncos WRs are dropping balls all over the field.

Yeah, a WR dropped a 5 yard pass on 3rd and 13 from the 3

No I'm not saying that. The QB always bears responsibility for poor offense. But Wilson is objectively an established baller. He will eventually produce numbers and wins.
Wilson’s going to be great on TV as a color guy or studio guy soon though.
Are you that butthurt over people wanting Wilson instead of Jones? Wilson will be fine.
Butthurt? Lmfao! Jones isn’t good. I’ve never been a fan. One has nothing to do with the other. I’m sorry that you can’t comprehend the fact that, Russell Wilson was not worth what the Broncos gave up. He literally looks like sun baked dog shit right now.
And what the fuck is this obsession with him being on the Giants? It was NEVER going to happen and, that was a good thing for this franchise.

So he has to learn and get comfortable with the new system? A pro QB should be able to just play... Right? He had the off season to learn the playbook and get in sync with the WRs.

We're looking for a QB upgrade. They may have made the mistake of wanting Lance over Mac Jones but you see what the issue is. If it isn't perfect Jimmy G breaks down.

not the same as live bullets with exotic blitzed/defenses and real games. It takes 8-10 games like brady when he got comfortable.
I think we have to lower our expectations of daniel jones.

I'm watching QB play around the league today, its not great.

It's an interesting point. QB play has been a little lacking so far this season. But the great QBs will start to play more consistently and separate themselves, and then the playoffs. Mediocre QBs generally kill you in the playoffs.

Jones has done that TWICE already this season. But the anti Jones crowd doesn’t want to acknowledge that.
Has the excuse of learning a new offense but Jones, who has had to learn a new every other year. Along with horrible offensive lines average at best WR’s, injured star RB, broken down TE’s since he has been here. Doesn’t get the same excuse that “Producer” just used for Wilson. BTW I would call myself Jones’s biggest fan by any means. Also I don’t see anyone giving Jones that big contract everyone here is so worried about. Perhaps a contract like the one that Trubisky just signed would work for both parties.
I think we have to lower our expectations of daniel jones.

I thought Tua looked terrific yesterday. Really impressed. Won’t salve the wound of not taking Herbert but it looks to me like he can play, though the offensive system needs to be tailored to him.
Still not sold on Tua or Hurts as long term solutions for either team. But both are playing very good football right now and are the way-too-early favorites for MVP.
McDaniel is looking the part, too. He and Grier deserve a ton of credit - as well - for this Miami start.

Tua actually started looking much better about halfway through 2021. The lights finally came on and he appeared much more comfortable in the pocket.
There are always going to be a few throws he will struggle with but he can be a decent NFL QB with a reasonable amount of talent around him. Maybe not franchise level, but second contract worthy.
The Broncos look awful on offense
Maybe because he's not an NFL QB. Garappolo on the other hand is an NFL QB.

Or they shouod have kept Fangio. He was a good coach. He was competitive with Lock at QB.
Denver gave up more capital for Wilson.
Neither looking like good investments so far.
That was a clear an intentional trip that I've ever seen
That was something I would expect to see happen in Jerry's Palace. We all know how sketchy the reffing is when we play them there

Hard to believe a real NFL QB would do that.
Well shit, great point! No sense trying to upgrade the QB position now! Glad that’s settled….

Might need a rest...they do it with Barkley.
The Broncos' offense looks worse than ours. And they have Wilson.

Honestly you could see Wilson was beginning to slip last season, so glad Giants decided not to go in that direction.

Jones needs to look downfield when the pocket starts to collapse to see when receivers are open. That’s his biggest flaw this season.
