I’ve been down there every year for the past 17 years the week after Christmas. It’s always been an afternoon game. It’s always a chore just to get the game. Monday night football should be a much different crowd. I’m curious how it goes.
I worked in PR on and off as a result of the PR bond crisis from approx 2013-2019. The advice here is terrible. That said, I'd call everywhere as im not sure how the power situation is. I heard the north is pretty good now so you should be ok.
Brickhaus - downtown san juan. Owned by a new yorker. I would call and confirm they're open/will have game but it used to be the spot for NY sports
In Condado, Waiter's always had games on and usually had some giants fans. Another spot in Condado is Prime time. Pretty much every place on Ashford between the La Concha and the Marriott will have the game on.
Also would check out La Placita - there are a ton of bars around there and i am sure the game will be on. Not sure if there will be a "giants bar" there though. Here's one spot that usually (Taberna los vazquez) had games on. If you haven't been to la placate you should check it out before you leave.
I have a family member in the coast guard there who is not easy to contact. I've been worried a bit with the storm, news makes it sound not very good there. Can you advise?

This is all fine, and I don’t think finding the game on a Monday night will be difficult. There won’t be a Giants bar however. If it wasn’t a Monday night game it’s more difficult than you would think to find the game. Often, the giants game is considered local and not picked up by the satellites. Only people with Livery cable get the local fox channel, so everyone else doesn’t get it. I’ve had to go to bars only to catch the Redzone for Giants.
I am scheduled to head down there for a conference next month. Are there any issues remaining from Fiona?
Downtown San Juan has been operational for several days. Traffic lights are still being turned on. I think some poor neighborhoods are still on generator power.
I would not expect problems unless you are in a remote area.
