...its already been proven that the Jets who play on the same field are towards the bottom in injuries. Stop with the field bullshit, a guy who was injury prone got injured, its a sport where bodies are pushed to the limit on a daily basis
You might be right, but we’re talking about Sterling Shepard

He was pulling up from a fucking jog with not a soul near him.

yea, I know, I saw the replay, his cleat didn't get stuck, he literally just hurt himself... You act like his foot got stuck in the turf and he hurt himself.
Al the “turf” guys are morons. One. The turf is new this year. Two. That’s injury had nothing to do with the turf. Morons.
The turf can be new and still be shitty. Field turf is naturally sticky.
As someone who played an entire high school and college football career on turf, plus 11 years of indoor soccer, It's not sticky, it merely does a better job of allowing traction, so you wear different shoes. If anything i would characterize natural grass as naturally slippery.
Regardless, that doesn't change the fact it wasn't even close to a turf related injury
Shep's always been injury prone. This is par for the course for him. It's probably the end of his career and we all wish him well. but some folks are making him out to be some all-tome Giants receiver.
Wishing Shepard the best. But when they resigned him or redid his contract, wmtry to remember what you were thinking. I know I was not thinking he would play many games. He was always a fake away for a life altering concussion and has had a bunch of other injuries.
He was pulling up from a fucking jog with not a soul near him.

It looked like a guy running the ball and something just popped.
Again, I think these guys are too ripped and their frames can't handle it.

Probably the smartest post anyone will make tonight... Been saying it for years, the human body has limitations

I don’t disagree. But It’s just too much of a coincidence to me.

+1 I definitely think there is something to that E.
Shep thread - ( New Window )
Natural grass can't handle an NFL game every week (and two some weeks), and all the other things MetLife is used for.
Because they tried it already. And it didn’t work.
