And in regard to those drives (1) No Leonard Williams, (2) For whatever reason NYG blitzes just couldn't get to the QB, and (3) Cooper Rush played a really good game.
They had given up 2 FG's, then they pulled the rug out from the fans....How pumped was everybody after that Barkley score........that was such a let down
didn’t have our best defender and our past rush was nonexistent all game. Should t really be a surprise that we couldn’t sustain holding them for 4 quarters.
When you're living solely off fire and intensity, this is what happens
You know the offense will struggle to score, so you put all your intensity into playing the perfect defensive game.
Then the offense actually puts it together. Now you're actually winning, and your intensity level drops. You no longer need to play perfect anymore. So you relax, and suddenly guy's are running free in the secondary.
It was as if Dallas temporarily kidnapped Wink and inserted Patrick Graham back on our sideline. That can't happen. And not only to give up one TD after we score, but to give up TWO in two consecutive drives? Absolutely brutal. Completely took away all of our momentum and changed the entire game.
And it goes without saying, but Thibs and Ojulari not playing the first two games really set the defense back. Now those two guys are playing catch up to learn the defense and get back 100% physically out there. Those two injuries in the Summer really fucked us.
let's list all the good defenders we had out there tonight

This loss is absolutely on the D. They lucked out of the Cooper Rush dropped TD and the missed Holmes PI in the endzone. Both would have resulted in TDs
Where nothing Wink called really worked. Yes, they kept the game close for a while (which seems to be the current formula), and made some stops. But on the whole, they never stopped the run, and they never got any pressure on Rush -- blitzing or not.

Oh my friend they certainly played a big part in it
He could not beat Rb block on rush in isolation i cointed three times at least, he has no moves to shed blocks and got winded aftet two plays (Cigarettes), jad to come out in mamy series when dallas was driving for those td’s
Was the dagger. We called a perfect blitz and were right in his face and he lofted it to a wide open Lamb for like 25 yards. We get home there and sack him it's like 2nd and 15 or more and the crowd is going crazy and they probably don't get a first down there. They never looked back on offense after that.
I thought the defense was further along. But there’s just no playmakers on defense. Especially without the Big Cat. Just really disappointing that no one could step up tonight.

His edge rushers didnt set the edge on running plays and looked useless rushing the QB, and his MLBs are the worst in the league - a big problem when your best DL is out
Big part of it

- Love? Maybe
really, who else?
Not Azeez, he wasn't game fit/speed.
KT besides not being game fit/speed is a rookie who missed half of camp.

The Giants don't score nearly enough points. Which makes sense. The offense only has 2 good players.

They certainly don't have to give up 2 consecutive TDs in a row to a backup QB at home after the offense gives them the lead and all of the momentum.
Dallas played complimentary football. Giants did the opposite.
Very little talent on this team. Injuries to key/good players to boot!
