The amount of idiotic no-neck jersey cowboy fans I encountered at the stadium tonight was shocking. Never set foot in Texas, don't know a thing about football but will slam bud lights and hoot and holler trash talk like no other.
I admit I rooted for the Vikings when I was a kid ('70s). The Giants sucked; I barely knew they existed. The Vikes were good, I liked their colors, they played in the snow and the players had snotcicles on their beards.
But I became a Giants fan in the mid 80s and never looked back. I would hate to be a native of NY/NJ and be a cowpies fan. Seems indicative of poor character.
nothing worse than a Cowboys fan who has zero connection to Texas
to themselves. When a team is this bad over the last decade, people tend to look for a winner to root for. Dallas has always been good and same with the Eagles. Those teams just know how to draft and get the most out of ther talent. Anyway, the stadium was loud again last night and will continue to be as long as the Giants are winning. I have a strong feeling that this GM and Coach will start to right the ship, but it’s going to take more then this year, obviously. Maybe then will those so-called bandwagon jumpers get aboard.
