lining up 3 guys whose only time on an NFL field should be in the 4th quarter of a preseason game. That is the biggest issue on this roster right now and I'm not sure it's close (despite how bad the IOL, LB's and DL depth after Leo/Dex is)
Sills/James/Slayton are not starting caliber NFL receivers. And Golladay is worse than all 3 of them.
Shep is a pedestrian SLOT guy after all of the injuries, but due to the lack of options, he has been forced to line up on the outside where he is well below average (and now he looks to be finished with a serious knee injury)
The inability to win downfield in the passing game handicaps the Giants offense. Opponents can key in on Saquon & the running game, and DB's can sit on underneath routes. The Giants best offensive play tonight was Daniel Jones tucking the ball and running.
Somebody get Will Fullers agent on the phone ASAP
I'm not counting on Toney until I see him make it through 2 practices without ending up on the injury report.
As for Wan'Dale, he'll probably be the go-to guy once he's back which says more about the rest of the WR group than it does him.
But how good can an NFL passing attack really be when it is being run through a 5'8 rookie WR with the wingspan of a 5'5 guy.
Wow, you are asking for a lot…near impossible from my point of view. Toney is a head case so I think it goes farther than hamstrings. WanDale hopefully is not too small to play in this league.
