1.KAYVON THIBODEAUX- Based on tonight, I guess his 1st NFL game will be against the Bears. He was a complete non factor and looked lost and even worse-invisible.
2. EVAN NEAL- WOW. 3 sacks given up to Lawrence, 1 sack given up to Wilson, and jumping offsides. Can't sugarcoat it. He was horrible.
3. WAN'DALE ROBINSON- "draft experts" claimed he was taken way too high with the 43rd overall pick. So far, he can't get on the field to answer that claim
4. JOSHUA EZEUDU- his overall performance in game one has gotten him a seat on the bench- despite the glaring interior weaknesses on the Giants O Line, he gets no snaps.
5. CORDALE FLOTT- he has been impressive with his tackling skills and his overall play has been worthy of a solid 3rd round pick
6. DANIEL BELLINGER- he has worked hard to earn the starters role and has improved each week. A great value in the 4th round
7. DANE BELTON- after playing a great deal against the Panthers, he was primarily a special teams player tonight. Was it Winks defensive game plan against the Cowboys, or was it more than that?
8. MICAH MCFADDEN- probably saw his most defensive snaps tonight, but the Cowboys simply had too much success on running plays, especially on meaningful downs.
9. D.J. DAVIDSON- he has made contributions on running plays when the interior starters have been subbed out. Can't complain about his production vs where he was drafted.
10. MARCUS MCKETHAN- incomplete. Out for the year.
11. DARRIAN BEAVERS- incomplete. Out for the year.
Tonight is only one game, but in the NFL, successful drafts are critical to improve a team and build a foundation. Rookies need to add team value quickly.
The poor play or lack of play by this years draft picks created a mountain that simply couldn't be climbed
Sorry Joe- but tonight your draft picks overall performance earned you an "F"
Thibs is coming off an injury. Neal played against an all-pro d-line. Probably the best he'll play all season.
It is what it is. They have plenty of time to improve.
Some of his issues could be physical limitations - his feet have looked slow and balance issues have carried over from college. It doesn't appear that he has natural knee bend and his feet are a bit heavy.
I want to think that some of it can be attributed to adjusting to the speed of the game and playing slow because he is not confident in his technique. Look how fast AT's feet and how smooth his pass sets look in year 3 compared to his rookie year.
Agree 1000%
There is no one to blame but the owners and past GM (DG) for this mess..
Neal is going to be better than fine. He had a bad game but it's going to get a lot better with him. Dude is still going to be a stud and he absolutely has good knee bend, agility, all the tools needed to be a quality NFL tackle.
He got schooled by superior DL competition last night. Part of the learning curve.

I hope you're right. I still think you are, but after last night, my confidence in him has slipped a level or two.
Neal played through his struggle and was big in a few run plays and still held his own outside.
I swear some you guys act so funny when you chastise folks during the week - bad roster, rebuild, not about this year- then game day go ape shit when the Giants to win or dominate.
You do know it is a team game right? How easy is it to tee off on the QB and Online when you do not fear the WR's, the TE's etc. ?
Neal has to get better but that happens by playing.

Agree, but I did see some slow feets....
The worst part of tonight was:
Giving up 6 sacks while getting none.
Shepard injury.
Losing to the the hated Cowboys.
We are onto Chicago
Any one who thought this was a playoff team, deserves a "C".
You have to play the rookies so they gain experience. Neal was bad. The Vets inside were dreadful.
Lol,……You think!
Neal was the biggest disappointment - hopefully he improves and corrects his errors.

You DO NOT rate a draft on one game...
Criticize him for what, exactly? Because he hasn’t won a Super Bowl yet? After 3 games and taking over the worst roster in the sport? The fucking guy just got here you nitwit.

+1. This may have been Neal’s worst single outing since he started playing football. He went up against some very talented NFL pass rushers and got schooled. Time to put the big boy pants and get back to work.
What were we saying about Parsons at this point last year? Impact.
We need that from our top two guys as the season plays out. I think the rest of the picks have been okay. Ezueda will get some experience, make progress and hopefully be ready in 2023.
This!!! What did we get in return? Toney and Ojalari and ? I would give 2-3 players for Parsons. If you watched PSU you knew he would be good but not this good! What a crime. DG - you killed our franchise for years
We’re supposed to suck
We’ll probably be average to bad next year too
It’ll take 2 or 3 drafts & FA to get out of the mess of Gettleman
It's funny that you say that while the GM himself has been trying to tone down expectations and communicate that this is a mess that needs undoing before fixing.
Fans haven't got that message, and it's clear.
There wasn't any critical thought in the OP, just emotional vomit. But I'm definitely not "grading" Schoen's 2022 draft after 1 bad game especially when his top pick was having a good preseason until getting rolled up and spraining his ankle.
Neal had a bad game, that's Shoens fault?
We lack talent and cap space and he couldn't fix everything in 1 offseason, lol. Yes, criticize him for that.
Really? After all the injuries we were 2-0 heading into last nights game, which ended up being very winnable. A bunch of our new guys have been injured, nothing Schoen can do about that.
It’s quite possible that we will play Chicago without our top 4 WRs from the start of the season. What else can you do?
7 years of college down the drain!
Wasn't our night. We didn't have the numbers going in and it showed. Move on to the Bears. We're 2-1. This loss shouldn't define the first half of the year. We lost to a team that had better players. Shit happens.
What the hell was he supposed to do about player personnel this off season? Some of you continue to have your head buried completely in the sand when it comes to understanding how dire this situation was/is. The are in cap hell. You can ignore it all you want, but it’s not making you look very bright
#5 was gimpy . That was obvious . He probably shouldn’t have been out there . Leo was sorely missed . Neal had a rough one . Carolina & Dallas’s fronts are much better than Clemson . He will get used to it .
What’s killing this first year is the crap that Gettleman left behind , primarily Gollady. What an utter disgrace of a football player . Guy playing obviously not to get hurt instead of sticking his nose in there to help the ballclub.
Had the ball with 1.25 remaining -7 , then Sills wiped out . Carpet misery ? What about the Cowboys then? Yeah Dak didn’t play but it doesn’t look like Rush is much worse . They are in good hands with that guy .
No Fs , Yankee . Recoup & restore . Stay with it .

And had a solid grade week 2, that led all rookie linemen, per PFF, if you put any stock in that.

What is it with you lunatics? One freaking game - 3rd game of the season and you are making such a huge deal out of it?
