Will Levis or bust

this guy is the guy we need.... hopefully we won't have to give multiple first round picks to get up and pick him.

Mobile, tough, great arm, I see him talking to the OL yesterday... more of a leader than Daniel, more charismatic dude

I see a poor's man Josh Allen and I can see some Big Ben play in him



I would keep Barkley to help him...

Golladay, Slayton and Shephard will be gone in 2023

Toney is the wild card

Robinson, Sills (RFA), Johnson are under contract

we need 1 major upgrade at WR (FA maybe)


for me it's crystal clear...


I don't want to sign a Jimmy G... because I don't want to make the playoffs, I want to win the Superbowl, the growing pains are for 2 more year... (1 with Levis at the helm) then in 2024 playoffs bound for the next 10 years

Impresses me.

That being said, it’s why Schoen and Dabs are paid the big bucks to evaluate details to see who our next QB could be

very on the fence about Levis. He has some traits that will definately transalte -- big, athletic and a 'gamer' who is known to be a good leader. But he's also very inaccurate and struggles to get through progressions (we've had enough of that for one lifetime).

I'm curious to see this season play out but he's far from a 'savior' type QB.

That we're going to wind up with him and have no clue why at all.

Oddly, I had the same thing going with Thomas, Neal and Barkley early in the college seasons before they were drafted.
for me a quality needed for a Qb ... charisma

he needs to hate losing and show it but in a controlled way!

He needs to make players around them believe and be excited

He needs to learn and process the information faster and see progression

The tool box (arm, legs, accuracy, etc...) are there to see

Me too. Ever since the Wandale pick. And I had that feeling with Eli Apple and Hakeem Nicks.
Who’s going to block for him and catch passes from him?!

to Josh Allen that's come along in the past few drafts. No idea about the intangibles, I'm going off my untrained eye.

the traits are there, he's no God, but he is an interesting player to mold, teach, etc

a lesser Josh Allen can still be top 10-15 QB in the league

he has a lesser arm, and less mobile but similar tool box with better accuracy in college

In losing.
If we win 8 or 9 games we will have to give up a ton to get in the range for the top 3 QBs and Jones will be priced out of resigning him cheaply.
It's a bad catch-22.
This team is talent deficient and needs as many top picks as it can get, trading multiple first for a QB doesn't make sense when you have a cap problem and a ton of below expectation players.
If Lamar Jackson is a FA next season......

We need to get him anyway possible....Not only does he bring us high end QB play, but he will be attractive for potential FA WR's!

with a heavy QB draft class coming up. And even if the Giants did: I am still not sold on Lamar Jackson. He just missed way too many passes in the Jets game for me to even think of him as a legit top NFL QB. Take him out of that system and that coaching and what do you have? Who knows.

Lamar will be tagged if he and Balt can't agree on a contract. No way the Ravens let him walk.
Let me say this, I might be the biggest Jones fan on the board.

That said I played the same position as Will at the same high school Xavier in Middletown ct. will was not the best thrower of the football there in the past 10 years. Tim Boyle was (packers/Lions). But he is a tougher mother and can run. He will throw td’s and picks. A good NFL comparison ? How about the one and only Daniel Jones. Will is thicker and tries to run over you Daniel has more speed. Remember will just came on the scene after (3 years of not beating out the State Penn QB of the past 6 years. Don’t expect him coming in here to be our savior and put up numbers that are so superior to DJ cause it won’t happen. I would be a huge supporter like I am for DJ but that’s who you are getting.

The State Penn. they only put him in to run the ball. That was his job. Played with a shit team and over achived. He is not a drop back classic thrower of the football.
