to Deebo Samuel. Not as good but a similar player and a very dangerous weapon.
Don’t see the deebo comparison
Deebo a brute. Kinda a smaller , more explosive A. boldin. Toney more finesse and joystick moves. Little power
Been error on the side of caution with toney. I will give him a couple weeks to heal. But highly doubtful he lasts more than a few games. The GIF that someone put up ( samual L Jackson as GLASS) fit perfectly

Boldin? Anquon Boldin? Or is that a typo?

Someone made a thread about Toney being another Gettleman bust after his first practice. Everyone ripped the thread starter but he was 100 percent right.
Few players have Ward's level of "Want It". That's a very high bar, and Toney doesn't clear it. Toney also doesn't quite have the bulk to be that kind of blocker (or survive throwing as many borderline-illegal blocks), though Ward wasn't all that big either. He just punched above his weight - literally and figuratively. On the positive side, Toney has a top gear Ward lacked.
The similarities are in the diversity of skills - the ability to catch, throw, and make things happen with the ball in their hands. They also both came into the League with significant durability concerns: Toney because he couldn't stay on the field at Florida; Ward because he learned at the Combine that he only had one ACL.
I'm not REMOTELY putting Toney in Ward's class as a player. Just saying that's the kind of role your could envision for him if he had Ward's heart and durability.
Unless football suddenly becomes much more important to him
this is why so many super stars at the college level don't make it.
Often the difference isn't raw athletic ability, its desire, aptitude, and coachability. We see this over and over again. If Toney thinks he's just going to run out there and be good, and not have to work, then he is mistaken. There are hundreds over athletically gifted athletes who would kill for his opportunity
He’s another guy that just doesn’t seem to have he desire....
Lots of parallels between Toney and Harvin, as Gators with very similar measurables - except for the bench press, where Harvin excelled and Toney shriveled.
The biggest difference might be Harvin's prowess as a returner; but IIRC that was something of a bonus for the Vikings, since Meyer didn't use him on returns at Florida.
Getting Toney engaged is an important project for the coaching staff

And yet in his second year people here were calling him Becky.
You mean the guy who ripped his own QB right after he signed a huge contract? The same guy who liked to pretend to piss on pylons?
OK.
Lol, no way. Not even close to Deebo
Probably like shit. It's been sitting out in the open for 6,000 years!
Anyways, I'm skeptical he'd be that good or that he'll be very good.

Thank you. I don't get these Beckham fetishists.

Not worth a first rounder, either way.
