He got absolutely crushed on a sack and was disturbing to see his arms and fingers go rigid and contort right after the hit while he was on his back. Was disturbing to see. Team announced he sustained Neck and head injuries as he was brought out motionless on a stretcher and sent to a level 1 trauma center.
Prayers he’s ok.
Isnt an independent evaluator that has to clear him? so i dont think you can blame the dolphins
Heard the arms and fingers going rigid and contorting is a sign of neurological damage. Just hoping the guy is ok, career is secondary based upon how bad it looked.
I do remember that....whatever happened to him?
Miami should be in deep shit
Miami is a stand up organization, besides getting caught openly tampering with Tom Brady and Sean Payton. I wouldn't put anything past them.

Concussion last year? Very similar situation. That might have been a Thursday game as well

He's back and was back last year. The reaction he had to his concussion was very similar.
A concussion occurs when your brain bounces around in your skull. Your arms flip out like that when your brain stem is banged around.
I have seen that in mma and boxing a number of times. While you do not want to see something like that ever it clearly was the impact to the neck and head. The only really questionable part is did he have a concussion the week before.
He was medically cleared last week by an independent doctor from what I’ve read. I’ll wait for actual facts to come out.
Watching the overreaction theater and layman internet diagnosis with what is usually comical minimum knowledge is fun to eat popcorn to though.

surely an actual doctor would have noticed, no? Hiding it is a lose lose for the dolphins, if it’s even possible.

McDaniel does not strike me as the sort of macho dipshit who'd encourage or even just allow a knowingly concussed player to take the field.
Yikes. Best wishes. Take a break. Health comes first.
But the team doctors as well as the NFL doctor cleared him to play. Told McDaniel he passed the concussion protocol and is fine to play.
So I don't know what else one can expect from him. I suspect strongly that most (if not all) coaches would have played him too if their team doctors and NFL doctor cleared him.
Hopefully this is only a concussion (bad enough) and nothing more complicated.
Medicine is all about risk vs benefit and the doctor should have
protected Tua.

I think the league should consider looking into players being available for a Thursday game if they went under the protocol test that previous Sunday with such a short turnaround time.
Hope it turns out the best for Tua.

What a foolish post. Are you a doctor? Did you examine him? How are you in any position to call a medical professional an "idiot"? You have no information to make that determination even if you had the medical training.
It's amazing how not knowing what the fuck they are talking about never seems to stop people from opening their pie holes.
Imagine the ego gratification and financial rewards of a doctor who works for the NFL.
Who the hell would know who Russell Warren is if he wasn't around the Giants for the past 30 years? There are huge financial and career rewards at stake for many people by keeping players on the field. Starting with the doctors who are baked into the NFL culture. GMs, coaches and players come and go. Owners do not change nearly as often.
