It's different with a QB but I'm getting to the same place with Jones as I was with Engram and Shep. 3 and 4 coaching staffs all loved these guys, played them every week and talked about how likable they are. It's great to be liked and respected but at some point we need more production. I'm still looking for a glimpse of 2019 Daniel Jones but I haven't seen much offensive production.

OL coach Bobby Johnson says when Giants had a walk-thru after Monday's game Evan Neal was going at full practice speed. He had to be told to slow down.

Daboll doesn’t reveal much when asked about a player in the doghouse. But his answers about players in his good graces fill in the blanks. On Richie James, Daboll said he’s “very consistent,” “very trustworthy” and “is where he’s supposed to be when he’s supposed to be there.”

Leonard Williams (knee), Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) all didn’t practice again Friday. Don’t expect them to play Sunday vs. Bears.

WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) and CB Nick McCloud (hamstring) were on the side with trainers. Didn’t spot CB Cor’Dale Flott (calf). Didn’t see WR Wan’Dale Robinson (knee) and DL Leonard Williams (knee) do anything. Expect all five to be out for Sunday.

Spoke with Kadarius Toney yesterday. He said he was making "progress" + "getting better." It's the same hamstring from the summer but not exactly the same injury.
Saw Toney run sprints at practice on Friday. He wants to play, wants to win. Right now body just won't allow it.
As a Giants fan I've always learned to just suspect that's the case early in.
