efficient with their run games than people think. 24-20 Giants with a huge game coming from Saquon. Going to be lots of running from both teams in this one. Giants will probably give up a big explosive play in pass game or two. Richie James has a big one for us moving the chains.
I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but the Giants gave me a very creepy feeling after the Carolina game, and even though they squeezed out a win based on turnovers, the entire game felt like a fever dream of the past 4 years of ineptitude, especially on offense. And that ineptitude continued against Dallas.
They really do run the ball well and a number of ways too. Just hate the idea of loading the box, Chicago still ripping off 4 and 5 ypc, and in turn giving Fields some favorable looks.
If Jones, Barkley, and Thomas show up by themselves again it's going to be a frustrating, low scoring loss.
It's hard to keep throwing this group of WRs on an NFL field. They are sheep into the lions' den. With the Bears unthreatened by anything deep, they will crowd the short and intermediate areas and play over-aggressively which will make everything tough. The chances for a multiple sack/QB hit/pressure-type day with Jones running for his life and Barkley getting stuffed are high.
Like most NFL defenses, the Bears D has a chance to put this game away and choke the Giants offense out.
to agree with M.S. We have almost nothing on offense. Absolutely nobody cares about our WRs. It's all about stopping Barkley and living with the few first downs Jones get scrambling for his life. We have no big play ability unless Barkley breaks a long run.
On defense, we have generated much pass rush, and without Williams, are subject to being gashed, especially around the end.
Bears 23 - 13.
Bears are the perfect opponent for Giants to get back on track...
They are not particularly good at anything. Justin Fields is probably the least productive QB in the league. I expect Wink's defense to give him trouble.

True, da Bears aren't really that good at any one thing, but gotta be honest: How do the Giants come up with 27 points? Maybe a couple of Pick Sixes? Cause relying on the offense for 27 points just ain't in the cards IMO. The Giants are not fielding an NFL-caliber offense. It's Andrew Thomas, Saquon Barkley and 9 other guys you gotta keep your fingers crossed on.

haven't generated.
RE: i actually think the Giants are going to win this one
My concern now is the injuries at WR and with Leo Williams, otherwise I'd pick the Giants. I think both are too much to overcome. The Bears defense should be able to do just enough to get Just Fields and company in position to do what they need to do to win. I hope I'm wrong though because this is a very winnable game against an opponent in the Giants' weight class.
BBI blows up crushing Jones despite the hard fought win.
Posts get created asking why Jones can't move the Offense as well as a prime Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes and Allen, and if he can't its all just an excuse created by Jones homers they will say.
2 offensive TD's.
2 FG.
1 Pick 6.
Game a whole lot closer than the score.
I suspect that Giants have the better kicker, so I think we will win the FG contest
No WRs, no passing game, no pass protection and a defense that is starting to crack open.
Bears 17
Giants 9
No TDs for the Men in Blue. Just a guy named Gano and 3 FGs.
And by Sunday at 4pm, the honeymoon with Coach Brian Daboll is over. And then it’s a slog the rest of the season to 5 wins, maybe 6.
Would like to be 100% wrong.

If you guys think "heroic" Jones has an unreliable OL, you haven't seen anything yet with the Bears sieve. I mean OL.
It should be a good game for Wink and the boys to pad their sack and pressure totals.
Very long indeed!
I do think the defense steps up.

Gano 5 fgs

Field goal wins it with 6 seconds left.

That’s my score prediction, too. We owe those bastards.

I expect Barkley to have a big day. The Bears defense is not the Cowboys. Both teams can run on the other.
10-7 or 16-13 type of thing. A lot of punts.
Giants 16, Bears 13
Figure a defensive touchdown somewhere in this game.
I bet the over
Gano does the. Rest.
Stack the line to stop the run
Put a spy on the QB
Dare him to throw
Run the ball ourselves often and many screen passes
We need to sit KT and play a guy who is better at stopping the run. We do not need a pass rusher today.
So close.
