He didn't play on the 25th (the day after the Twins were eliminated) when he was 4 points behind judge. He sat last night against a guy with a 4.6 ERA when the Twins scored 7 runs. Before that i think he had played all but one game since Aug. 12th. The only reason Judge hasn't missed three games in that time is 62.
And has played in 141 games this year 20 more than last year.
They are out of the playoffs and he is their best young player. Could be they don't want to over work him for no reason

Yes, don’t give a young healthy player more major league ABs when your team is out of the playoffs?

Question, Are you a Mets or a Red Sox fan?
This is his fourth full season. His career BA is .314. He has more ABs in his first four years than Judge did.
He has seven fewer plate appearances in September than he did in August. That is not significant or indicative of anything.
If you think the manager is even considering adjusting his lineup card bc of a batting title race until MAYBE the last game of the season, you're just being a silly goose, you.
between bitching about this and Bonds, it’s getting nauseating. Arraez is .001 ahead of Judge. Who cares if he sits? Judge gets a couple hits, he’s ahead

Bonds is dead to us. Dead I tell you..Agree, Judge missed some pitches today and swung a a couple he should not have.
it's called baseball.
