Who are the best players we ever got from Philly and Dallas?

who stand out from Dallas are Everson Walls and Steve DeOssie.

From Dallas

from the Cowboys. Ron Stone also comes to mind along with Walls. Walls showed up at the right time but both Canty and Stone were better for a longer term perspective. Only a year but I'll throw out Marcus Bennet.

Can't think of any players that we got directly from Philly so I'll throw out DRC who made a pitstop between locations. You did say players so he doesn't count but I'll throw out Spags. I love Coughlin but he really didn't have a good track record of selecting DC's. Spags was his best.

Also came from Dallas I believe

Cowboys - Ron Stone. Snagged a good player who couldn't unseat a hall of famer.

Stone and Canty were who came to mind from Dallas. Martellus Bennett too, though his time in blue was brief.

Shawn Andrews looked like he was a steal at OG until his back issues returned.

Yes, and he stunk as a Giant.

I forgot about Shawn Andrews. He did look very good in those few games before he was injured again.

Mike Patterson was an okay DT for us for a couple of years. Best I can do for someone who played more than Andrews.

He was a solid player for the Steelers and Eagles who was washed up by the time he arrived in Jersey.
