I don’t know how you can keep both but I’d rather have him. Younger, figuring it out. Seems like he’s going to be a stud for a while. He dominated the LOS today.
At least for 2023
Cap room looks solid with room to sign a few mid level FA and keep our own
Depends on jones situation
He hasn’t played bad but doesn’t warrant franchise or extension
Qb hell

Dex has played very well, even outside of today. He consistently draws double teams and gets penetration while clogging the run.
Giants have Lawrence under team control through 2023. There’s no reason to think about his contract right now.
The really impressive thing is he’s been at or above 75% of the defensive snaps since Williams went down, and he’s looked better with more burn.
He’s got a really impress motor and chase for a guy his size. He’s a remarkably nimble DT.
The reason you think about extending him now, or more likely at the end of the season given our cap situation, is that the price to do so will just increase if he keeps playing this well.
Dex was getting crushed last week for being useless by most of BBI. If he can’t produce against top talent then do we really want to pay big money? Or is the Bears OL good?
...from the EAST. A lunchpail, hard hat interior lineman with gifts. Get him some linebackers and safeties......and he could be a 2023 Leonard Marshall contributor.
and without doubt, he was doubled or at least game planned for relative to the other DL mates. He hasn't had a bad game yet but today he was really good. Sometimes people get enamored with the flashy plays rather than the trench play that makes everyone else better. Also, I don't think we have to worry about losing Dex until after 2023 - that 5th year thing.
Probably one or the other.

You keep the great players and let the average ones go if needed.
