You suck if you can't give Daniel Jones any praise after 4 games.
Really.
This is a very untalented offensive team.
The praise costs you nothing and gives you credibility.
The previous regime was really, really bad.
The next 4 games will reveal whether this is a mirage.
Trading Barkley right now is impossible. You would trade the best player on a 3-1 team?
Good luck with the locker room.
People should embrace this moment to be joyful.
You actually deserve to be happy, New York Giant's fan. You have suffered enough. Even if it doesn't last. Get what you can.
Peace.
Daniel Bellinger is getting better and better every week.
Dexter Lawrence best game as a Giant
Dane Belton hits like a truck
Jaylon Smith is the only LB we have that looks like a LB.
Slayton is going to get alot of work this week.

WRs are all #4/5 guys at this point. Only guy who gets separation is slayton and his hands turned to brick.
The plays were calmly going into the QB, who was relaying them to the wildcat RB, and then executed for a field goal scoring drive.
That was freaking incredible.
Too bad they cannot get any WRs.
You nailed it. The league is experiencing a mediocrity epidemic with no vaccine on the horizon.
I'll say this. If these Green Bay rookie receivers - Doubs, Watson - can develop at a more accelerated pace, they can the elitist of the elite with that D, running game, and OL.
That's obviously a big if...
play calling.
Can you produce a single post that even remotely came close to that?
play calling.
You are asking for a lot on this one…..but nothing is Impossible for those who believe.

Very good point. Once Taylor went down, you could see Daboll in Barkley's ear and telling him he needed to operate the WC.
It was a very smooth transition.
What I wound interesting was that the Bears continued to put a corner out on Jones. Jones would limp out wide like he had a peg leg, and the Bears would still honor him as a threat.
I wouldn't have put a defender within 15 yards of Jones.

LOL - this is so true. Love the way Daboll gets right in there with the players had fires them up. He has bridged that gap of being like a player, but at the same time commanding the respect of a HC.
Positives: I thought the OL blocked well today Saquon is a threat on every down. Jones TD on the fake came when it seemed like all 11 bears went after him. Jones running ability is scary and effective on the RPO but where is the passing game - the bears were cramming into the box and no one outside the TEs could get separation? Can’t tell from the TV view. Negative The Giants have to figure a way to pass in the seams. Gives Saquon more room and gives us all the opportunity to see if Jones is just a runner or a can deliver in the clutch. I would seriously work in some more play actions. The lbers and safetys are certainly going to pinch in toward the line if there is a chance Saquon touches the ball
Just my thoughts
Doing otherwise doesn't make a lot of sense.
If we can get some semblance of a down field passing attack that will open things up for Barkley.
Golladay needs to go to IR and just stay there. He is basically Sills with less moves and less effort.
If we can get Gates back our Oline gains some serious depth and protects us from an injury to Feliciano.
Defensively we need our Edges to get healthy for more than one game and we really can use Rodarious Williams as our CB's are a bit thin.
We need to win 1 of the next 4 and in reality 2-2 would ideal.

Bad coaching on the Bears part. Good playing calling on the Giants side.
That moment would have been too much for McAdoo, Shurmur, or Judge.

Great post. I was down on Bellinger after preseason but he has been solid.
And Lawrence has been possibly the best defensive player on the team. Well, maybe tied with McKinney.
play calling.
+7

I don't follow - why?
Another QB couldn't hand off and throw to SB?
44 carries won't be practical nor will the style they used today long term. Hopefully they keep finding a wrinkle to add and we get back Toney or something. Stay ahead of down/distance (one of my favorite indicators) they have a chance. The early drives were awesome. What a treat to see a few good runs and boom PA to the TE works.
Lost a bit in this is the D. Through four games letting up 17.9 pts. Wink and the players have really stepped up taking a lot of pressure off the offense.
Doing otherwise doesn't make a lot of sense.
Eric that’s sacrilege to the anybody but Jones faction. Just sayin’.

Swing and a miss, If Jones isnt covered you just throw him the ball and he throws the ball

Agreed.....saying the two are attached has no basis.

LOL, you ask, you receive...........
I will say a lot of that read like a game thread, with a lot of frustration.
I'm not in the that thread, but I was down on Barkley too. He looks like a different player to be honest, more physical and determined.

Wouldn’t it be the other way around? I don’t think you can keep DJ and remove his only all pro caliber skill player

Teams that finish well can still find quarterbacks. You don't have to tank a season chasing after a draft pick.

Seriously, you watched that game yesterday and concluded all Jones did was hand off to Saquon!
I m surprised by this take.
The problem for Schoen right now is the fan base would be livid if they traded him. But if you part ways with Jones and want to draft another QB, (1) the Giants need more draft capital than they have right now, (2) Barkley will be 28 by the time this team is in serious contention again, (3) he's already had two seasons shortened with injuries, one very serious, (4) he plays a position where the shelf life is not long.

My comment had nothing to do with yesterday. It was a general statement that handing off and throwing to SB isn't something precious between Jones and SB.

That makes zero sense to me, but to each their own.
The more interesting comment is the comment that Schoen should dictate personnel decisions based on fan reaction. Really?
Scene:
Another GM: "Joe, I'll give you our first and two-twos for Saquon right now..."
Schoen: "I'd love to, but I can't."
Another GM: "Why? Mara?"
Schoen: "No, the fan base will get mad at me. And I don't like it when the fans get mad at me..."
JFC.
If you felt that way then, nothing should have changed. If anything, you should feel more strongly about not paying a RB a huge contract on a team without a QB.
You can keep Barkley and get a rookie QB. We won’t be a championship contender with Jones in the next three seasons either in all likely hood, so what is the difference?
With the money we have available this offseason we could have a rookie QB, give him a safety valve like Saqoun and make his development much easier. Normally I’d say the financials don’t make sense but with this coaching staff I think there is a huge benefit to keeping Saqoun no matter who is at QB.
