harm in taking a look. As Eric said, teams bring in players every week, and his visit was apparently scheduled before all of our injuries yesterday. I expect that at least one player injured yesterday will go on IR.
Peppers is a tremendous athlete but a bad football player. That athletic ability occasionally allowed him to make flashy plays, but on a consistent basis over many plays, he was not good. Bad in coverage, terrible tackler. He was pretty good on the blitz and could hit, that's about it.
BUT this feels different after watching Sunday's game.
The Giants are going to struggle to find players period to fill out the roster at certain positions IF the majority of injuries from Sunday keep players out of the lineup for London or moving forward.
This Giants team, like everyone other one for the past decade seems to be snake bit from injury stand point.
He's on the practice squad and didn't get one of the two call ups. He has already been activated at least twice and can only be activated three times without being elevated to active roster.
he shifted to LB and pparently played well in that role, although it is difficult to tell how accurate that is because the WFT media is so sychophantic.
But considering he played LB, I would guess the Giants brought him in with the ide of him playing LB and not safety.
Collins was a difference maker on a playoff team, is collins the best in coverage? absolutely not but he was elite in his role in the box

OTOH, because he was always looking into the backfield, he got burned on some deep routes.
But I think Wink will know how to use him. Its amazing how he plays to a guy's strength.
Damn straight...
Just don't have him walk across the MetLife turf to sign the deal :)
