Loved the end zone, small gripe is I would reverse the color scheme. It should be a blue end zone with red letters as old Giants Stadium was in the 90’s

I still don't think they got the shade of blue quite right on these throwbacks. Needs to be a bit deeper and darker, more of a royal blue.

but I prefer the current kits. I became a fan in the Fassel/Collins era. We won two Super Bowls in our current white jersey which is my favorite. To me they are the New York Giants uniforms.

Im all for the unis from last week and this week to come out once or twice a year, but not permanently.

The existing blue is different than what they wore with yesterday's throwbacks. I have the current and a throwback Strahan right next to each other right now. The current home blue is darker.

They look to have used the blue from the mid-late 90's when creating these throwbacks. The weird thing about making these throwbacks is that since uniform companies varied back then the blue would almost be different year to year. That plus camera technology progressing it's hard to just compare images.

I like having The Giants current uniforms stay as the main as your younger fans do not really know these Giants uniforms as it's been 2+ decades since they were worn. Having 4 games of retro with the color rush and throwback uniforms is a good mix for the Giants to use going forward.

I think some of the shade of blue differences we're seeing can be attributed to TV picture quality, HDR, etc.

Most TV's now really pop the colors with HDR modes (same with photos)

I have an authentic LT jersey and the shade of blue is almost identical to what the team wore yesterday. It might be a tiny bit off, but I just think the difference between watching the games on big tube TV's in standard definition (or repurposed clips) has a bit to do with the simple difference in lenses we're viewing them through.

Everything about the stadium aesthetic yesterday just popped so much more. I don't mind our current unis, I just think they're almost too bland. And I usually like the more basic, classic stuff. I think it's just the lack of a 3rd color.

The homes are basically just blue and white and the roads are just red/white now.

The dark navy GIANTS helmets with the red outline/red helmet stripe + the white and royal looks so much better to me.

For reference, here's an image of Strahan wearing a jersey that looks similar to yesterday's. I think they mentioned in the video that was put out about the process they went through to create the throwbacks that they had many different samples to choose from because of the variation of material that would happen back then

Agree.

Don't like the 80s unis, never did. The current unis (which are the true throwback, as the design predates the 70s) are much better. I detest the GIANTS logo, the NY logo is classic and timeless. I don't mind seeing the 80s unis once a year and the all-whites are fine, I guess, but I don't favor bringing back the 80s uniforms.

i was going to start a thread on this today to say these should be the Giants permanent uniform. They looked great, and half the people in the stadium wearing jerseys had the throwbacks on
