We didn't think the pass defense would be stellar this year and now we're without Julian Love. We still don't really know how good this defense is yet.
If the giants stay in this, or cover, this will be the last time you see a line this big, but we have to prove it vs a good qb.

Then it's moved up. I saw a +7.5 line earlier today. I don't know which is which. But I do agree, we can cover that spread (either one), though likely lose the game.

We have injuries everywhere and may not have a qb. Even if Jones plays, 9.5 seems low. The pack has a strong ground game going for 200 yards 2 out of the last 3 weeks, the defense gets after the qb, and then you have to deal with Rodgers. Their receivers may stink, but the passing game is still productive and our luck is they finally gel this game.

That's fine...but Vegas doesn't set the line to please overzealous Giant homers. Hence, the Vegas line and an apparent lack of respect. Might want to read the thread title instead of bitching just to bitch.

Agree to disagree...we beat bad teams last year also, we just didn't play as many. We beat a bad Carolina team last year...beat a bad Carolinateam this year. The Bears are considered the least talented team in the NFL by most talking heads. Only the Titan win will be impressive at the end of the year...Carolina and the Bears will have top 5 picks.
But the team is being held together by ace bandages at this point. Green Bay usually rounds into form around week five every year also, so expect them to really open it up on us this week.
If this Giants team falls behind by a lot to any team we will get buried. We can not hang in a shoot out because we literally have zero receivers. Can’t run Barkley all day if you’re down 14+, which Green Bay has the ability to do to us.

They have 3 wins now and they still play Houston, Seattle, Detroit, Washington twice, Indianapolis, and Dallas. All winnable. (Not saying they will win them all)

Sticking with Vegas terminology, this is a ‘house money’ season, more so with all the injuries. Remember what many said they wanted to see develop preseason:

Among other goals.
I mean we are the definition of the walking wounded and this offense
stands zero chance to back door cover if we can even manage to keep it close. With the state of our WR crew it’s imperative we have a mobile QB to keep teams honest (or in Bears case saying fuck if we won’t get beat by Saquon and still getting beat by him). So if it’s Webb I put our chances at effectively zero to win and marginally better to cover just because the defense gives us a chance.
The Packers aren’t even good, but I have a hard time believing we get enough pressure on Rogers to not have him slice up our single coverage on the weak links (LB and corners not named Adoree). This isn’t Justin Fields and the odds of us getting a defensive score are low (which is what it would take) Thibs is gonna have to show us a big one for us to keep it close if LW is a no go. Rogers likes holding onto the ball so get that football young man. Ditto for Dex bringing the same game he did last week.
The nice part about being 3-1 is we don’t have to rush anyone back. Its a marathon not a sprint now.

Well after watching the Bears again yesterday, I'm still very comfortable calling the 9ers loss to the Bears a very bad loss. ;)

Generally, I agree. But there are signature wins that standout.
