11 tackles, sack, FF and an all around menace on Sunday while logging 100% snap rate.

A one off excellent game or a player coming into his own?

He is more a product of the system than anything else. I don't mind him as a backup but this defense would be so much better with a better player.

the system or not, if he continues to play like he did on Sunday, there should not be any more posts about cutting him, as there have been. A big IF

Of course we want more out of the position but if he can be a plus starter, which is how he played, that’ll help.

I worry that it was due to the bears inability to pass the ball so he could be very aggressive.

Packers are a good test.

Also helps to have Dex playing like an all pro in front of him.

But there were plays he missed too. Stats look nice but what do tackles really say? I hate that stat by itself. Are you making the tackles 6 yards downfield? There were a couple of times during the game (I didn't rewatch it), that I was shaking my head with him.

Unlike everyone else. Resuscitation in the first half, i think he was washed out yoo often and looked lost in the shuffle. Don't get all the sudden love.

I think he knows how to use players for their strengths

He has always had a couple games a season like yesterday

against passers with the skill set of Fields, Crowder can continue to do well.

Need to see him prove more against passing offenses

Looked a lot better with Jaylon Smith next to him versus Austin “Uani Unga in Drag” Calitro next to him as McFadden learns the position.
