Kayvon Thibodeaux is spending his off day at Community Food Bank of NJ with his mom and friends as part of Chunky Sacks Hunger program for hunger relief #Giants @kayvont
haha. I honestly already find him to be one of the more engaging and interesting (not in some inappropriate way) quotes on the team. Obviously, he'll have to play well for any of that to matter but the off-field "concerns" likely ends up looking comical in a few seasons. Seems like a standup great dude to me.
want him to have a healthy lifestyle so he can maximize his career and life (without Cigarettes of course) and read the friggin playbook so he isn't running around with his hair on fire before a play.

C'mon man, do you really think he smokes cigarettes, do you really believe he does not study his playbook because he does not totally know the defense yet?

I think there's a lot of sarcasm on this thread
But seriously though...what kind of turf do they have in that warehouse? If he tweaks his knee 'sticking his foot in the ground' in some crummy astroturf to pick up some more cans, we're screwed

Chrisrick- According to this article, He does smoke. See number 6 below in the attached article. "Even after the excessive stress on the pitch, Thibodeaux still goes back to the dressing and puffs his cigarette. Below is an Instagram post that shows how Kayvon Thibodeaux Smokes". I’m am going to guess many players smoke cigars, many smoke weed. The question is, how much, and does that amount impact their abilities? Of course then we should probably focus on players that drink and how much they drink, what players have bad diets and how that affects their game.

The problem with Smoking vs Drinking as an athlete is Nicotine builds up in the lungs and affects endurance. Not so much with Drinking. Example, I know many Cross country runners that can binge heaviliy on beer one night..and next morning go out for a run and sweat out the beer to where the group smells like a brewery until it's out of system. Can't really do that with nicotine.
smoking is too much thought? How much actually affects their on the field performance?
Alcohol is very hard on the body, does not allow for good rest, dehydrates the body. If we are going to harp on someone who may only smoke cigars on occasion then we probably ought to extend that to anything athletes do that is harmful to their bodies.

You are literally comparing apples to oranges. Its way worse for anaerobic athletes to drink than have the occasional cigarette.

How many smokers you know that only have the occasional cigarette?
I don't see anywhere where it shows him or talks about him smoking cigarettes, except that one dopey article, which is proving he smokes by showing him with a cigar. I remain unconvinced.... lol

you MartyNJ1969 has no issues with KT if he smokes pot.
I Don't know about about Pot and its effect on the athlete. I don't have an opionion. I just know nicotine will lower his performance, growth and endurance going forward
So gun to your head, you'd be more OK with him smoking pot than cigarettes.
To answer your question, Either choice is bad, but I heard MaryJane has healing qualities to it. Willie Nelson swears by it. It's the lesser of two evils IMO if your an athlete. Either way, You need healthy lungs to play football and rush the QB.
Thibs can't shed any blocks
MartyNJ1969 : 10/2/2022 1:14 pm : link : reply
bust pick
<--Context here is he couldn't shake off blocks on some runs in first quarter to amke tackle
Thibs needs a Cigarette to calm down

he is not studying playbook..that is obvious. He is stupid
<---The context here was he was running around with his hair on fire before the play and luckily the QB didn't see this. Thibs needs to know where he needs to be when he enters the game.
and then he capped it off with this gem in the 2nd half
This is just a false flag to get taylor into game. Jones can still
MartyNJ1969 : 10/2/2022 3:21 pm : link : reply
play. IMO
<---this was after they showed Jones sprinting on sideline after he came out.
I was pumped watching this game...I really love this team because its grappling on each play. I just want the players to know their assignments because this team is only going to have a chance to win if everyone knows their assignment before the ball is snapped.
Huge reach in the draft.
