On S Landon Collins’ workout with the #Giants, it sounds like it went well. No immediate signing, especially with some roster gymnastics at other positions this week but could be revisited down the road.
season so their bodies are fresh down the stretch when they do eventually sign with a team....most likely a winner or near-winner looking for reinforcements or injury replacements.
So in some cases, if you were smart with the money you earned in the golden years....you can afford to wait and hook-up with a winner in week 12-13
I hope it was the former because I hope the Giants woudn't be signing him as a safety but as an LB. Do we play any Buffalo nickel type packages because that's the only safety type position I can see him having any value for?
saw from DG, glad he didn't sign LC to a second contract. But what happened to this guy. In the conversation for DPOY of the year in 2016 to never really great again. And apparently not good now. I loved him when he was here and hope he can get back in the game if that is what he want.

Other than being a sub for Love during protocol, I'm not sure what his role would be here, given his expressed no at the question of playing ILB. More likely Smith and Klein fill the need there.

As a safety, he gets drawn in way too often and then lacks the recovery speed to catch up with WR. He is a big play waiting to happen.
Not really big enough to be a LBer. Doesn't want to take on OL, as he is used to playing in space.
But he does have some strong points. No one better at knifing in on screens and catching RB before he has a chance to gain momentum.
I bet Wink could figure out how to use him, highlighting his strengths and disguising his weaknesses.
of his generation. He can’t run . From what I’ve seen of Martindale’s use of safeties , the roles change weekly and you have to run . Also despite the run-tough reputation , Collins misses more than you think. OK protocol is probably going to be a prolonged thing now that the Dolphins and the neuro specialist almost got somebody killed . So no Love for awhile .
Well, I wasn't going to start a GoFundMe page for him...
Right now, he's doing neither.

he was tired of his usage and Rivera.

He may not have liked the role and usage, but wasn't he very effective in it?
Look at Jimmy Vesey with the Rangers - he was trying to be a scoring forward the first time around, now he is trying to be a 4th line plugger

Imagine if instead of being his usual dumbass, Snyder simply read bbi and kind of would have known how he would perform.
From the podverse, it sounds like quite a few WTF players are *especially* tired of Del Rio.

Took the money and played for a bad team. Could've stayed and played on a really bad team. Lose-lose.

Not based on what I heard, keep up, champ.

Well half of this board would have signed off on Sam Darnold. I'm not sure NFL execs should be taking advice from us.
