#24. Definitely not #14.
Most Other ‘Power Rankings’ Have The Giants

In the low to mid 20s.

Some ranking algorithms may still have a “2021 Carry Over Factor” in addition to the 2022 record.

Season ends today the Giants are the NFC #6 seed.

Yay!

The Link Is Defensive Ranking

Not overall ranking I believe.

14 might be OK for Wink’s defense so far.

These are overall rankings, with specific comments only about the respective defenses ???
OK

we've fought our way back to average. Hip, hip,....
Great for our record and hype.....

But, the team is still bottom 3rd with our current players. Cherish the moment as we won't be this far up the list again for the rest of season.
Funny that four teams listed ahead

have injuries as the biggest issue on defense, but no mention of it with the Giants.

It might work against the quarterbacks they faced, but life is about to get much more difficult with Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, Trevor Lawrence and Geno Smith on deck...

Suddenly Geno Smith is a problem.

That indeed may be true, but I have a hard time accepting it... ;)
I think we're somewhere around 22ish

We're a good "bad team". That's coaching really. We can beat mediocre teams and should beat other bad teams but I don't think we'll be able to hang when we match up with the better offenses in the league. Once a real offense can exploit our defense we won't be able to keep up. Dallas with Rush could have and maybe should have beat us by double digits but they had some key drops and their coaches were conservative when they could have stepped on our throats early. Because of injuries and the schedule we won't see one of those teams until Baltimore next week.
