has led to the resurgence of the run game. Hopefully the packers show up not ready to tackle. Then we can win.

Barkley is part of their winning. However, I stopped being a Barkley fan during the offseason when he said that his critics should stay on the other side of the fence when he plays well. He is playing well but doesn't want anyone who critcized him to cheer for him.

At least until the trade deadline. :-)

Good. Both of you are better off.

The only thing that matters is a Giants victory. If Barkley gets shut down, but the Giants win, I'm happy.

But I hope we utilize him more in the passing game. Anytime Barkley gets the ball with space is a positive, and this is an easy way to scheme it up for him. He hasn't really done anything with his screen chances so far, but you can just feel how much more potential those plays have. Even get creative and put him in the slot for a play or three.

This team really needs to find ways to inject big plays to the offense, and Barkley is the rare weapon who can do just that with a screen/short pass.

As currently constructed we likely won't win against good teams without him having a big day.

I think everyone can agree a win trumps a statistical benchmark but that doesn't mean you can't root for both.
