Haven’t had a beer buzz in the morning in a few years so this will be a great excuse. Plus it’ll be easier getting up Monday morning and a hell of a lot better than after a Monday night game that’s for sure.
get up at 9:30 do some work around the house, no phone calls or TV...I'll record until 12 then tune in. When game is over switch to 1pm games that should be in the late 3rd qter....
I'm a tea guy so I'll probably brew a pot of strong Assam or Irish breakfast tea and have it with a bagel. If I get ambitious, bacon and eggs. Settle in front of TV and hope my wife sleeps in so I don't have to have the "Let's go out and do something" conversation until late in the game.
I have a 30 mile MTB race scheduled for an 8 am start
at 9:15 for the 1PM home games, but I don't start drinking until 1PM for the TV games. I don't know what I will do for this. I'm thinking about sipping on some strong BA stout to start.
I am leaning toward coffee at 7AM and a nice roast beef sandwich
we start a game this early, and every fews years at that. I'm getting up early, pre-making some breakfast burritos, and will have beverages on hand to get an early jump. I like the wake n bake idea also : )
One thing I miss about posting up in California: cracking open a brew @ 10 AM & playing the 'Hey, the Giants are about to kickoff!' card to the wife &-to a degree-myself, Haha.
where all the bars are full at 9AM.
Then it'll be fish & chips for the post-game lunch.
Cheers!
Blondies in UWS opened early and took in the victory and then the one o' clocks with plenty of beer and wings.

I like your style
Water in first half? Noooo!! Start with a cup or two of coffee, and then a bloddy or two for the first half. Move to beer for the second half.
But maybe a little anisette in the coffee!
Traditional English Breakfast:
Beans, toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, bacon, eggs, and black pudding. Tequila on the side is optional (optimal?).

This version, it's coffee and a fritatta.
But maybe a little anisette in the coffee!
That's a great idea. I'll go Espresso with sambuca and bloody mary's.
Not ideal for those of us on the West Coast.
6:30 AM is way to early for beer for me. Coffee at 6:30 AM and and a full breakfast at half time.
To beer.
