New York brings only three healthy wide receivers -- David Sills, Richie James and Darius Slayton -- on the active roster into the contest. Marcus Johnson is also expected to be elevated from the practice squad.
anyway, and as Bellinger develops, he gives Jones a viable target. Not trying to make a comparison, but the Giants passing schemes back in Simms' time was Bavaro first and foremost and the WRs secondary.
Wouldn't mind if things develop this way here. A big, consistent TE can be a QBs best friend.

agree. Tanner Hudson has shown he can be a decent receiver out of the backfield as well

I know you mean well. But mentioning a HOF worthy TE to rookie or a not so strong OL to a very good OL or Jones to Simms for that matter, really?
Bellinger isn't and won't be a Bavaro, but he is developing into a
True true he really just has to be Jake Ballard 2 different players but just do your job. Think Bellinger has more upside though and should turn out better.

Come on Samien, you know that s not what he is doing here. He s making a point about game planning.

I think he's more fluid, sudden, and faster than Ballard. Reminds me more of Kevin Boss.
Side note, we've had a lot of starting TE's whose name starts with a 'B'.
...he will be our 5th WR. I would rather have Barkley running routes then Sills, he is useless. Barkley will have carry this team to victory. If he doesn't have big numbers running and receiving this will be a blow out unless the defense really shuts down the Packers and it is a very low scoring game. Something like 13 - 10.
So I'm not surprised he's starting
He has practiced all week and was listed as probable earlier today.

Eric.. though the info that he will start vs probable was newsworthy..
But if you disagree, I can delete the thread. Should I delete it?

But.......will Slayton actually catch the ball?

Not sure what your point is.
I think they'll probably hold off on announcing that before the game.

If he can't run then I would start Davis Webb.

We'll know when he's split out wide for most of the plays
Thanks for the encouragement.
