I don’t think they’re gonna pitch Robbie Ray tomorrow if they win this game throwing a lefty at that lineup does it make sense you might as well save him for the next round opening game and pitch Gilbert and Kirby if necessary
I was slightly amused watching the "best fans in all of baseball" file out of the stadium like they were giving away free stuff outside as soon as the Phillies went up 4-2.
The Cardinals were 92-0 in the postseason entering today when going into a 9th inning with > 1 run lead. Now, they're 92-1.
arc, I've watched a couple of Cards games when stranded-is that the right word?-in St. Louis. That is an incredible fan base. That said, odd behavior considering this is the end of the line for Pujols & probably Molina/Wainwright.

It surprised me, honestly. Really surprised me because that fanbase is always so revered for their loyalty. I mean, the game was far from over at that point. 2-3 run leads can vanish fast. Factor in the storylines on Pujols, Yadi and Waino and I just didn't expect so many fans to throw up their arms and feel like the game was over at that point.
Just a really killer loss for them because there's no way Helsley is going to be available tomorrow now and he's far and away their best reliever.
Can't believe Arenado whiffed on that ground ball. That's one of the only times I can even recall him making a misplay like that. He's been such an elite 3B for so long.
Rays show their weak offense losing 1-0 in 15 innings. The only extra base hit of the game by either team was the walk- off HR given up by Corey Kluber.
Blue Jays show their weak pitching blowing an 8-1 lead to lose 10-9.
Toronto was somewhat unlucky that a two-out bloop with the bases loaded cleared the bases to tie the score, when Springer and Bichette collided going for the ball.
Yanks will probably face Cal Quantrill Tuesday night. Not a strikeout pitcher. Pitched decently in one start at YS back in April.
Monty came into that game last night and walked almost as many batters as he got out. Harrison Bader is the reason we won't be forced to watch Aaron Hicks start every postseason game.

Yanks won that deal.
