I have to think that was it. McCann's career numbers (4 for 10) stand out compared to Nido's (1 for 3) vs Darvish.
Mets wearing all black...Rutgers is doing a Blackout game tonight. Up 10-0 on Cornhuskers. Let's hope similar good vibes in Queens.
Exciting to be back to playoff baseball regardless of the disappointment in losing the division. Hopefully this becomes an annual thing with Cohen at the helm. I could get used to it

Yep. You get so few opps in the postseason; have to take advantage
They don't Not sure why Max didn't just walk Josh Bell when he was down 3-0 in the count and go on the the next hitter.
Yeah, their lineup is not very deep. Their offense was anemic with Tatis out until they got Soto/Bell and those two struggled with them early on

lineup 5-9 doesnt scare me at all.

Because its the first inning and a guy who OPS'ed 79. He threw the only mistake really. Profur blooped a single off the end of the bat. Pads are a lot like the Mets in that they are contact oriented team but with less power and worse lineup.
Dude...I mean not to be a jerk here but why are you attacking players and spewing hate..
I don't think Pete wanted to strike out. I don't think Max wanted to give up the HRs...
Youre frustrated, I get it. But why is Max and asshole for giving up a HR?
