Fucking asshole.
Dude...I mean not to be a jerk here but why are you attacking players and spewing hate..
I don't think Pete wanted to strike out. I don't think Max wanted to give up the HRs...
Youre frustrated, I get it. But why is Max and asshole for giving up a HR?
Because he’s being paid 40 million to be an “ace”, not give up 2 HR in 3 innings.
So hopefully he can pitch twice against the Dodgers
Degrom, Max and Bassitt all turned in subpar performances (for them). If it was just one guy, you chalk it up to being random.
But 4 subpar starts in a row really suggests that the tinkering has not worked.
The Mets' aces haven't pitched like aces the last few weeks.

I don't see how that reflects on his character but OK

That said, it's degrom and scherzer. Adjusting their rotation schedule can't be an excuse. They're hall of famers.
Losing baseball
The sad thing is, they didn’t even need hits in either inning to get a run home.
Grrrrrrr….
+1
Seems like the game plan was to go after them up in the zone with heat. But Padres seem to be ready for it. That's also not Max's game.
Too easy for Darvish. He might go 9 innings and shut them out
They hit in bunches but when we need runs to erase a deficit, they never seem to come.
This game feels like that fucking Braves series.
So frustrating!

I’m not sure how another year will help with the clutch hitting.
McNeil, Alonso, Vogey, Marte, Canha ecobar will all be back (hopefully Nimmo too)

With the pending free agents - we may taking a step back. A lot of FAs to sign and no one available (realistically) to improve the team. We may need to ride the youngsters.
Our rotation is going to be a huge question mark.

Too much dead weight. More importantly they still don’t have clutch hitters.

We can’t have Vogey as DH, need an upgrade there

This team is built on half-measures.
Could've been more aggressive with Realmuto, instead signed McCann.
Wasn't aggressive enough to get Josh Bell, traded for Vogelbach.
Could've been more aggressive in promotions for Vientos and Alvarez, waited too long in deference to veterans who weren't performing.
I'm probably being overly critical.
We could have brought in some difference makers at the trade deadline and instead brought in a bunch of crap that set us back.
The Padres brought in Soto and the guy (Bell) who crushed the two run homer in the first inning like Swanson and Riley in that Brave series.
When we needed a creative GM, we got a junior HS kid trading baseball cards.
