#LFGM!
Darvish will cruise to a complete game at this pace.
Quote:
Too much dead weight. More importantly they still don’t have clutch hitters.
They hit in bunches but when we need runs to erase a deficit, they never seem to come.
This game feels like that fucking Braves series.
So frustrating!
This team is built on half-measures.
Could've been more aggressive with Realmuto, instead signed McCann.
Wasn't aggressive enough to get Josh Bell, traded for Vogelbach.
Could've been more aggressive in promotions for Vientos and Alvarez, waited too long in deference to veterans who weren't performing.
I'm probably being overly critical.
Nope spot on

Not being overly critical. They fucked in many ways - lack of promos, DH situation, sticking waaaaaay too long with some vets, not addressing the ‘pen….

Half measures have been the Alderson way his entire Mets tenure
They are a fantastic team
But maybe unlucky with respect to when they are hot (ie. not now)
Like I've said..it's a crapshoot...doesn't matter if you were a 97 win team or an 88 win team...a rookie pitcher can come in and throw the pitch of a lifetime to a superstar CF and end a season...
And A GM who came up way short when we needed real energy and infusion to ride out the division.
Naquin
Ruf
Vogelbach
The Braves and Dodgers GM’s are the best in the buz. We need someone to match their skills or we are always going to be looking up at them.

They are choking. They did it most of September and are doing it tonight. Stop trying to euphemism it away
That is why this bye was so damn important.
what a disaster
Reputations and career accomplishments don't matter right now. Right now, I feel like they have the better rotation at the moment.
Scherzer last October had a dead arm. Here we are in October and he hasn't been the same for a few weeks.
And the Mets are now getting blown out.
Just Wow!
what a disaster
lol
That is why this bye was so damn important.
Oh, not according to Moze and Chris. They kept telling us it didnt matter, just relax, everything will be OK
Is it still OK? Can we call it a choke now?
Visions of Glavine meltdown..lol
Jake better be the “old” Jake tomorrow.
I’ll bet $ 100 that we’ll here about some “injury” that max supposedly has when the season ends

The fucking Phillies are probably going to advance and unless we figure things out tonight, we won’t.

I never said that!!
Losing the bye was MASSIVE!! I never said otherwise!!
I DID say it had nothing to do with stamina or rest..and everything to do with just another opportunity for a team to beat you
+1
Scherzer, deGrom, Bassitt, Alonso, Lindor all coming up small when it matters most.
They've ruined us.
I kept saying they didn't need to sweep teams, they just needed to win 2/3..
They didn't do that...and here we are

The NL is stacked. All the playoff teams are good, really good

He seemed to be struggling in the bullpen warmup...
