Quite a difference, at least in terms of points scored.
Over 5 home games this season, Detroit has scored 158 points -- that's a remarkable 31.6 points per game!
Over 4 road games, just 61 points -- 15.3 point per game.
Let's hope we see their on-the-road offense tomorrow!
Five Home Games (2-3):
PF: 158 (31.6 / game)
PA: 153 (30.6 / game)
Net: 5 (1.0 / game)
Four Away Games (1-3):
PF: 61 (15.3 / game)
PA: 111 (27.8 / game)
Net: -50 (-12.5 / game)
Merci beaucoup!
I don't think Jones is as athletic as Fields but he should be able to take some advantage running against Detroit when he needs to run.

I think they will have a rough time tomorrow. I think this game is going to be an easy one for the Giants.
Hopefully you're right, but I really don't know what to expect from this game. The Giants could wind up getting their asses kicked. The Lions are coming off two straight victories, one was a 15-9 win at home vs Packers and the other was a 31-30 win in Chicago so so much for that overall stat on points at home vs points on the road.
In their road win in Chicago, the Lions offense was well under their average yards per game for the season, and the defense contributed to some points via a pick-6.
So give that some thought.
On the road: Vikes, Pats, Boys, Bears.
In PPG allowed, Pats are 6th, Boys are 5th, and Vikes are 14th.
We are currently 9th.
Ha! Too funny. I'm actually predicting a Lions win, so I guess we're OK! (:-)
Lions at Home vs:
Philly
Wash
Seattle
Miami
Green Bay
Lions Away vs:
Minny
New England
Dallas
Chicago
Well, Ford Field is a domed stadium
The Giants should stick to their script , but vary the run heavy with more designed short passing plays (kind of what we saw in the preseason and early against Houston and Jacksonville.
I want to see Breida and Brightwell get some carries, lessening the load on SB with a short turn around vs Dallas.
When looking at the games, the outlier is absolutely the Bears game, not those two you pointed out…
The Giants would wait until the last few minutes to beat me and 10 homeless people.

Agree with the Carrie’s
I think more of a pounder like brightwell getting 5-8 Carrie’s would be a good idea. Keep saquon at around 20-25 touches total ( including a few passes). Brieda ok for a few touches too
It’s the time of the yr the watch the pitch count a bit, especially going into a Thursday game
10 days off will really help on RB in nov. Our DTs too

Good research and post
true - let’s hope
Have any of the games been easy? Every win has been a one score margin. The Giants have had to grind out wins.

Based on their play the entire year, what makes you think they'll get their asses kicked by a sub 500 team?

Haha. So true.
I'm always amazed when people seem comfortable predicting an easy Giants win. I can't remember the last time I thought that way going into a game, but it definitely hasn't been any time in the last 8 or 9 years.
