Peart is terrible and the WHOLE inside OL is horrendous today, as if they don’t want to be out there. Out-muscled - Lions looking like they want this game much more then us. This seems a lot like the Seattle game, except we’re getting blown out. Lions offense is pretty damn good and their D is playing much, much better.

Guys are just flat out missing blocks, fucking up double teams, etc. there was a running play earlier in which Thomas looked like he didn’t know who to block and the guy he barely touched made the tackle for a loss

I think it is partly about looking forward to Thursday, short week and all. If you are going to go 1-1, you'd rather the victory against Dallas. I think they implemented a basic game plan that will be built upon for Dallas in the short week.
It didn't work, so there is nothing to do but just take it and get ready for Dallas.

Why Lemieux started was beyond me. Just an awful coaching decision. It cost us this game in my opinion.
then its a positive for the long view. Neal should be back next week. Let Ezeudu grow at LG between Thomas and Gates. Long term, this kind of loss might be good for them. Read too many press clippings. Detroit has a good offense and busted their ass on defense.
